Bit pissed off delmonte tbh. We didnt win any community awards this week afaik

Main Street

I see Everton's bid for Gyfi Sigurdsson has entered the serious negotiating stage.
Possibly £44m?
I think it would be a great move for both. Gylfi's a class act, his all round ability at this level is proven beyond doubt, he's just about reaching his peak and now can move his game up a few notches with better players around him.

Better players around him, not better than him.

It's a strange business where increase in income for clubs is immediately  swallowed up  by ferrari fueled inflation re players' salary and transfer fees.

£40M for Sigurdsson, big bucks, so where is Ross going to then?

You could nearly get Virgil for that money..

Rooney confirmed abd signed

next up, Sigurdsson!

once a blue, always a blue.....

as for lukaku leaving.. never has a great goalscorer leaving been met with such indifference by the fans. never really 'got' the club and always seemed to trying to engineer a move away.

Never has a goalscorer joining (who can't score anymore) been met with such jubilation. At least he gets the club though  ;D

Is Everton's intent to field the slowest possible attack? Gylfi for Barkley, Rooney for Lukaku..

Main Street

Wayne and Gylfi have some history together.

Rooney doesn't need God on his side, he has the ref.
