Title: Buying goods online
Post by: johnneycool on December 08, 2015, 11:19:34 AM
Whats the story with some online shops (House of Fraser in this instance) offering goods reduced for Black Friday, which my wife ordered and the delivery was delayed, due to ' busy warehouse'.

Low and behold last night she got an email refunding her initial amount, no reason given. She rang them this morning and they told her that they'd no stock and could only offer her the refund, which she said she didn't want and would wait until they'd got stock, but this was a no no, computer says no type nonsense.

Can they do that?

And what sort of online shop offers items that they don't have stock of??

Any good offers out there today? It's got to the stage where there's so much cr@p being advertised that you stop paying attention. So any genuine good offers? Was interested in a TV possibly and was considering the echo.

Posted it on the running thread earlier. The Garmin Forerunner 235 is £165 (€185) on Amazon today.
Same watch is €280 in Currys.

Bought one last year in the Black Friday Sales. (Unfortunately it hasn't seen much daylight this year  :-\ )
