Following on from the weekends results, great games. All in all though Errigal wont fear Trillick and Trillick wont fear Errigal, so i fear come the 13th October it could be a dead rubber. Unfortunately.

You do know a 'dead rubber' game is one where there is nothing to play for as previous games in a series have already pre-determined the result?

How can a championship final be a dead rubber game? ???

How does that mean it will be a dead rubber if both teams don't fear each other???

could be a write off, both teams will have no fire in the belly - no bite

f**k me. What utter shite.

Frank Burns red card over turned? Free to play in the final?

Hopefully Aidy McRory can be fit for the final

Thought I was at the old firm game yesterday listening to the Trillick supporters hurl abuse at players as well as boo the ref. Poor behaviour from so called adults , I would rather live in Eskra than have trillick win the championship.

Would agree about the pitch at O'Neill Park. Looks to be in poor shape.
Poor pitch, poor facilities, poor changing rooms, bad parking but they have a good BT connection.

Ask Adrian Cush how bad it is. Missed the AI final in 1995 when his foot went down a rabbit hole at training in O'Neill park

Are you sure about this?

ONeill park was very poor yesterday, no chance of free flowing football on that surface. Complete set up at O'Neill Park needs a full overhaul. The changing rooms, pitch surface and spectator areas for starters. Expected more from Errigal to be honest. Trillick were very good in a first game. Fianna were worthy champions and fought to the bitter end to keep their title - Trillick by 3 in final

Under Lights

Aghaloo failed to field in the derby game against Killeeshil.

What's the story there?

Errigal people probably secretly hoping he isn't as they have better than him on the bench, but he will never be dropped if fit.

Promoted, on the rip. Nothing to play for.

Not to my own taste but sure probably avoided the inevitable field fight.

That's pure lies. He has been excellent all year.

O'Neill park is a dump, major revamp needed. Glad they were beat, very arrogant bunch. Bus 5 mile up the road. Think Errigal will exploit weak Trillick defense

Useless, worst defender on the county team by a longshot. Take your Errigal glasses off every once in a while

Heard Coalisland had their annual dust up yesterday then when exiting the Championship.

I think topofthesoil might be saying these things for a reaction....

Two best teams in the final - should be a good one, expecting Trillick to go on and do it from here but you get the feeling Errigal need it more.

Coalisland looked a tired team at the end of the game yesturday. Might be the end for a few of their elder players. Lee Brennan display of place kicking was the difference in the end.

Dont agree with that, trillick are a team filled with hot air. Errigal are good but not great, both wont do a tap in ulster.

Ironic.
