Quote from: Delgany 2nds on February 12, 2024, 06:10:49 PMFolks ...Petrol VW T Roc has exhaust system fault , filter must be clogged.
Car does low speed /low mileage. Drove the shit out of it on M1 but still the warning light is on ?

Any advice , thanks
Not sure if its the same for the VW, but my car has to have 3/4 tank of fuel for the regen to kick in.
If only 1/4 even on long run it doesn't kick in.

i've heard you have to have the engine management light put off for car to complete a regen.
it won't regen with light on. then the filters get clogged.

Well that makes everything ok then. All forgotten with an apology. ::)
You'd expect an in house fine and disciplinary measures issued

Quote from: general_lee on January 23, 2024, 01:58:17 PMDPF deletes aren't legal though are they? Are they detectable at MOT?

If the MOT brings emissions test back in for diesel engines all the deleted software has to be reinstalled with whatever parts/filters needed replaced initially.

the person doing the deleting will say they'll never know who actually done the remapping.

Quote from: bennydorano on November 27, 2023, 11:10:10 AMAre there any companies that specialise in adding youngsters to car insurance? Asking in hope more than expectation, realise there's a robbing heading my way.
Got the eldest lads renewal quote today. Up from 1550 to 2150 if pay in one hit or a cool 2450 by monthly direct debit  :'(. That's with Hughes. The sister in law got a decent quote from Admiral for her daughter so will be giving them a ring this week.
Update. The wife got fully comp for the eldest fella for £1100 with Admiral rather than the renewal quote from Hughes of £2150! It's bonkers the differences in quotes. I've told her to check there isn't a catch  :-\

Fully comp with Admiral doesn't usually allow the named driver to have third party cover on another vehicle. I'd still take lower quote.

Alcohol consumption peaked in Ireland in 2007 or so, and people wised up a bit. There were too many pubs in most country places, Crossmaglen boasted 14 at one point. One became a pizzeria, which is progress of a sort.

Draperstown similar, only one opened now

You wouldn't want to get barred from there.

Bank of Ireland ATMS giving out money not in accounts. But it was debiting the account, so unauthorised overdraft charge coming up.

Absolute morons, every single one of them.

Remember Beavis and Butthead getting free cash from an ATM then becoming America's most wanted after the Police reconstruction.

Saw a follow-up video where they all go straight to an electrical store after to buy huge flat screen TVs  ::)

These people walk amongst us. Incidents like this show us what society is really like.

Have the county board assisted with the putting up of the lights?

Assisted? They're picking up the bill for them.

Is there not a 100k Euro Croke Park Grant

I'd imagine 100k(though it's a lot of money) doesn't go to far in the construction world now.
