Your're right there Benny. We've been spoilt here as Mayo fans the last 4/5 years. I have our opening championship match in London next May booked 3 weeks ago! (hope it doesn't change date  ??? )

Is it bank holiday weekend mick?

British bank holiday at end of May usually.
Inaugural Football Championship Prediction Winner.

Its the 29th, bank holiday over there. There was supposed to be the official reopening of the new development of Ruislip when we were there. Don't know why or what happened but it hasn't even begun construction from what I'm hearing. Would hardly be started now as it wouldn't be finished in time. (hotels are mad fecking dear there compared to last time  >:( )

You hoors have driven the price up so!  ;)

It's still reasonable value, but they're pushing it.

Yes that is correct.  If you sign up for the club + option and your county quality for the All Ireland Final you are guaranteed a ticket and it wouldn't be reliant on your attendance.  Although I don't know how it changes anything.  If you buy a season ticket surely it is your intention to attend a high percentage of your counties fixtures.

is it just the club + tickets that don't factor in attendance.

I agree that if you spend €95 most people will intend going to a lot of the matches, but it goes back to the old system of not rewarding the people who go to the games all season.

Wealthy people who can afford it, can just pay the money for the season ticket, go to no match all year and turn up for the all ireland!

In effect, this means that you can pay approximately €250 (€95 plus estimated 5 matches @ €30) to have the option to buy an all ireland ticket if your county reaches it, even if you go to no match all year!

I think we should be rewarding people who go to matches.

NP 76

You have to attend 60% of the games to be able to get an all ireland ticket

When the cairde ticket came out here in Mayo 2013, you did not have attendance recorded. They changed last year where they had to be scanned same as croke park tickets and had to attend 60%

Yes, that is correct. Plus, their ticket remains same price, ours go up from €85 to €99 and our Juveniles are being rightly ripped off by their tickets doubling in price to €20.

Seems they want rid of us, must be sick of the sight of us since 2009.

I see moving the Dubs' game against Laois/Wicklow to Nowlan Park is to be considered.

How many season tickets do the Dubs have any how would this work with a lower overall capacity?

Rossfan

There is a limit on the no of Season tickets a County can have. Dublin and Mayowr have the max - is it 5,000?
There are 17,000 seats in Nowlan Park it seems.

I have heard the number 5,000 bandied about, but add in the Parnell pass for Dublin fans as well, Cairde Mhaigh Eo for our fans, and there's more again I'm sure.
