Yeah, its not bad option. Then a few u21 players will be coming into that team aswell like Jack Brady, plenty of compeitition in the forwards. Very stong panel this year.

I heard the u21 Semi against Down is in the Athletic grounds.

ive heard we're back in brewster.

Yes Rodney. Unfortunately we are dependent on antrim to do something in clones but you never know and also fermanagh to not lose to meath. Our advantage is if we finish level with Monaghan or meath we will be above them as it is head to head that count. Both ros and Cavan are in the hunt still!
Antrim can do whatever they want in Clones, but if they don't do it in Inniskeen, it'll make no difference.

And if Cavan, Meath and Monaghan all end up with 8 points, Monaghan are likely to go up on scoring difference.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but would Cavan not go up if Cavan, Meath and Monaghan end up on the same points due to the fact that Cavan beat both Meath and Monaghan. I don't think that points difference comes into it in that instance.

I think head to head is only used when two teams are level. If its three teams then score difference is used.

Correct.

yeah, think it happened to wexford a few years ago.3 teams level on points, wexford had beaten the other two but it was settled on scoring diff.

Form an orderly queue to collect the winnings lads. Some 14 year old (assuming the 98 in her username is her birth year and not her weight in kilos) has posted up the winner:

What are ya at,nearly giving me a heart attack?  >:( >:(

Mcglynn was the best player this year IMO.im fairly certain lacey will get it though, its unfortunate that he'll probably be getting it because hes a big name and the fact that he didnt get it last year, despite being the best player last year (again, IMO).when is the shortlist announced?if McGlynn makes it i think ill just cover my stake and hope for the best.

GAA Discussion / Re: Ulster Junior Championship?
June 28, 2012, 12:36:50 PM
terry hyland regularly talks about how were trying to keep a conveyor belt of talent comming through.i think the juniors acts as another link on the belt.most people agree that the step from u21 to senior is a big one and takes a lot of players a few years to make it. without getting thrown in at the deepend with the seniors the players are getting more high quality competitive football and geling with players they'll be playing alonside for the seniors in the next few years. other than money i see no downside to it.
