12.45 pm  - Donaghmore v Kildress
2.30 pm - Carrickmore v Clonoe

Would rather these games at a different pitch. Dungannons playing surface is woeful.

What pitch (with the right spectator facilities) is going to be good in November?
Dunmoyle?

Dunmoyle a good venue. Much better than Dungannon.

Pomeroy would be best in my opinion - pretty close to them all (and better venue than Dgn)

Pomeroy best for what exactly?? A dump of a ground with third world facilities. No place for a game where the wind has an impact all year round

Dump of a ground is a bit harsh, yes their changing rooms are awful but I believe they have plans for new facilities. In my opinion it's the second best ground in tyrone after Healy park. County board obviously agree as a club championship semi final is held there every year.

The fact that Pomeroy get a semi final may be due to the super half time draw they put on when they get a match

Money gathered from a half time draw goes directly to the club hosting the game not the county board!

Exactly- tell me something I don't know

You seem to have some sort of grievance against the Pomeroy club for some reason.

I just think  taking teams to change in handball alleys and stairs is a bit 1970's

Why then would the county board choose a club to host a championship match on the basis of how successful their half time draw is. How successful a half time draw is of no benefit to the county board and wouldn't even come into their thinking when choosing a venue. They have four changing rooms therefore I cant understand why teams would have to change on stairs/handball alleys? Granted the changing rooms are small but no smaller than that of Dungannon or Carrickmore. I agree with previous posters, Carrickmore does generate a great atmosphere when full to capacity.

Where is the County Secretary from?

http://tyronegaa.ie/county-board/

Not sure where Dominic McCaughey is from. Why do you ask?

ThreeStones

County Secretary is from Trillick. they don't get to host Championship matches.

CHC meeting in Croke Park tonight apparently.

I am a newbie to this sight. Didn't even know it existed :'(
Clubs squabbling are they over the Rock not fielding?
Will they go down? Urney must feel agreived! As well as Gortin and Lochmacrory.
Think Donaghmore will be to much for an overated Kildress outfit this weekend and Ive a suspicion Carmen will bate the Rahillys as they will be hungry to show the county they arent done.
Division 3, 2 and 1 will be deadly next year. Think Edendork will hold their own in Division 1 next year. Might even get a point in Donnelly Park  ;) Galbally might struggle but should be to strong for the likes of Augher and Strabane.
Going to go with Cookstown to win next years Intermediate and  Lochmacrory for division 3

LMAO - Great first post - try to insult as many clubs as you can!!!

BTW who the hell are overrating Kildress?? Haven;t heard much talk about that!

Apologies no intention in the insults. Football is a matter of opinion.
Kildress got lucky to get to playoffs. Other results went for them.
