Is he still not playing with Gortin, a very solid midfielder in his day, but didn't think he was near the end of his playing days just yet. Would be a massive commitment time wise still playing while being involved in a back room team of another club

It's happening all over the country now, becoming more and more common.

Quote from: Tyrone Gaa on November 13, 2023, 11:18:14 PMSeeing videos from Errigal and Ardboe doing the rounds tonight. Tyrone GAA really need to get a grip. Was a dead rubber game looking at the table. Both clubs should have no home games next minor year for a start as well as hefty suspensions.

Tougher sanctions have to be handed out to deal with this.

A zero tolerance approach is needed. But we still have the excuses, handbags, nothing in it, blah, blah blah. Complete shite. It's a blight on the game. f**k both teams out of the competition and hand out bans.
If that happened on the street on a Saturday night the cops would probably lift a fair few lads.

keenan as trainer and John Lynch as S&C for 2024 and with several players back on board (Sean & Ciaran Harper, Harvey, Devine,Corry), the Derg might be a dark horse for promotion.

Owen Roes hitting the North Tyrone transfer market big this winter. Johnny Lafferty in as forwards coach and transfers in for Ruairi Gormley, Oisin McGrath and one or two others from Strabane.

Probably agree, player for player Coalisland seem to have the better matchups over the field to come out on top.

The only thing I'd say against Coalisland is that they haven't played much football lately, compared to Moy who have got to a championship final and had two playoff matches in recent weeks

Think that stood to Drumragh in the div 2 playoff. Since they lost the championship final they won the Reserve Championship and got through  couple of play off and definitely looked stronger in the last quarter compared to kileeshil who have been sitting around waiting for over a month for a competitive game. Drumragh might surprise a few teams next year. It's a big step up for them but they seemed to have good strength in depth judging by their bench. Kileeshil will be gutted to lose after leading for most of the game but they should come straight back up. Not that is that easy as a few teams recently have found out.

Can't speak for this year but he had Drumquin well drilled in their 2022 championship game. He brought an intensity to them so it sounds like a good appointment for Kildress.
