Thoughts on the junior championship? Derrytresk seem to have hit form at the right time but Aghaloo still might be too much for them. Stewartstown v Strabane is a toss up and should be a great game as there was little between them in the league. A Derryresk v Stewartsown final could be interesting.

Derrytresk vs Strabane final - just for the added Mickey Rea drama

Is Mickey Rea involved with Strabane. That is some trek from the east of the county, assuming he lives in that area.
Yes

Carrickmore one of the best championship venues in the county.

He's more than likely taking in £80 a night - safe to assume it's 4 hours minimum out of his evening & costs him £20 at least in fuel to come back to net £60 - would you manage a team for £15 an hour - no you wouldn't so catch yourself with your nonsense.

Is there a list of grounds that have hosted championship matches this year?
Is omagh pitch over used? Spread the wealth a bit more

Venues allocated for SFC, IFC & JFC games so far this year, inc. this weekend's SFC Quarter Finals and IFC & JFC Semi Finals

12 games - Omagh (Healy Park)
4 games - Edendork
3 games - Augher
2 games - Clogher, Donaghmore, Killyclogher, Pomeroy, Rock, Stewartstown & Strabane
1 game - Carrickmore, Coalisland, Dungannon (Hurling field), Fintona, Galbally, Garvaghy (Tyrone Centre), Loughmacrory & Newtownstewart

Total - 29 games

18 different venues, any glaring omission? Dunmoyle- possible coverage issue?

Is there a reason the Intermediate and Junior championships are this weekend, whilst teams in the Senior championship get a week off?

Junior champs will be playin in Ulster club on 6th Nov, so i guess they need a hurry on

Intermediate could prob have done with a weeks rest in fairness, and the eventual winners wont start until NOv 13th

So are they looking at Junior final on the 23rd and Intermediate and Senior finals on the 30th with Senior semi-finals next weekend?

Senior Football SF's – 15-16th October

All divisions got a 1 week break between 1st round and quarters. Then quarters and semis on consecutive weekends. Then another break until the final.

Under Lights

Not much chat about tomorrow nights semi finals. Junior game should be tight.
If Galbally win tomorrow night and Eglish beat edendork then Galbally automatically promoted
