Mark Rooney. And I've no sympathy. Sick of county teams holding up club football.
Well I could keep it above
But then it wouldn't be sky anymore

I agree. In addition, there is little evidence that keeping lads fresh helps anything. A good hard game a week away might do them a world of good, especially those lads who have been doing the leaving etc. who probably have very little football in recent weeks.

To be honest I don't understand why it has to be played 7 days out if we copped ourselves on just had a 10 day rule from intercounty matches I don't see why things can't go ahead.   To be honest it should be a godsend to a minor manager all his panel getting games in weeks before an intercounty match.  Look if we get an injury well thats life unfortunate but we may unearth one or two new player by actually playing goes for all levels all codes. Players at club level did last year play 3 games  1 day after another at different levels.

Hope everyone can get out and support this team TOMORROW night in O'Moore park!

The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back. That's real glory. VinceLombardi

Looking at this we might not be too far off the mark..We only lost to Meath by two they beat Dublin by 10 ..Dublin beat Offaly by 10 I know it doesn't mean much at this level but looking at this there is very little between the four teams that ar left!

The word is Kildare are the team to beat at minor level this year. We have to get over Offaly first, that won't be easy.

Whelan from Ballyroan is a strong forward. As is Kinsella (the referee's son), Comerford from The Harps (ex Killeen), the 2 Port lads at full back and centre back, Bennett and Byrne.
Big lad from Josephs wing back is very good, is his name Smith?

Team for tonight, best of luck lads...

Good win tonight. Great to be back in a Leinster final. Poor first half and 4 points to 3 was about right. Opened up well in the second half. Some good football. Will need to produce a full hour against Meath or Kildare. Impressed with James Kelly, Sean Byrne, Deering in the second half, and O'Connor.
Offaly were dire though.

Unison

Well done Laois Minors. Great performance in the second half. Couldn't believe how Offaly fell away, without a fight.

No his name is James Kelly. Off the same block as his first cousin Tom, Stephen & Colm Kelly and is as good if not better then Tom. Defdinatly one to watch. He had an outstanding game tonight

Tony

Great to see a decent turn out tonight. Offaly were poor but to get to a leinster final is excellent. Kelly was great at the back but definitely some decent talent coming through if developed correctly.
