Another damaging article in the IN this morning: https://www.irishnews.com/paywall/tsb/irishnews/irishnews/irishnews//sport/gaafootball/2021/11/16/news/kicking-out-we-re-supposed-to-be-better-than-what-tyrone-have-done-2508828/content.html

County pro Eugene McConnell defending the prices rises whilst the cost of living soars and use of food banks increases is just asinine. Surely his position is untenable now?!

Yes, terrible PR

Darby goal?

I'd have to go with this. There's so much more to it than the rest.

A socialist banana (oil) republic. Huge public spending based on oil revenues which have now dried up, leaving a population starving and destitute, with a government clinging to power. The self appointed interim President is most likely an American pawn.
The people will suffer.

They haven't dried up. Other countries are refusing to buy it.
It's the opposite of banana which seems to be the problem they have.

Ehh yes they have, the state took over oilfields that they dont have the expertise to exploit and the entire production infrastructure is crumbling from under investment.
To exasperate the problem Maduro put military men in charge of the oil and they dont have a clue what they are doing.

That's just not the case.
It is the refusal to buy from Venezuela because of US pressure on third parties that has caused a lack of investment in maintenance. it's got feck all top do with local expertise.

They won't do it. May will lose the vote, and unilaterally put off Brexit for at least 3 months. She will then get shafted and the whole crack will start again, this time with the Tories being led by a harder Brexiteer.

As Tyson says "Everybody's got plans... until they get hit."

Any of those clowns climb in the ring and they'll soon see they have nothing.

The first and most important thing to do is to agree who is to blame. Once this has been agreed the next step is to blame them continuously.

Yes benny, 17 pages and almost all comments negative towards Harte and his crew. So how can that help the no side?

We tend to shout louder and be heard more when we are giving out.
For example, if i agree with a post you made i wouldn't bother replying to it. However, if I disagree we could go on for pages disagreeing about it.

And the locals unhappily discovered what happens when you're discovered.

That was later, at that time they didn't know they'd been discovered, savages.

England have won six gold medals on Day One.

This means that, of all the countries which England invaded as part of their empire building project, none of them can run or swim as quick as the english. Hurrah!

They weren't all invaded, some were happily discovered.

Seen that alright. People yap about everyone should get behind mickey and the team but how can they when he is so divisive? If he is so interested in abortion/religion/politics then maybe he should stick to that and leave the football to someone else. No wonder he so keen to hang onto Tyrone job. Gives him a great platform to push his own personal agenda regarding political/religious views. Shameful stuff for a gaa manager to be honest.

If he was in favour of repealing the 8th would it be divisive??

is it really relevant what he thinks about it one way or other? What does Mattie McGleenan think about the abortion debate or Eamonn Fitzmaurice or Jim Galvin.. who cares?

Exactly.

Inter County managers without political views are as rare as Clubs Committees without political views.

All due respects to Galway but unles its a Dublin Kerry final there are alot of dubs supporters that coudnt be bothered going. Its be a worrying trend, the number of supporters coming to support the Dubs is decreasing year on year.

That's nonsense

Presume this is an April fool.

I know many won't believe this, but I know for a 100% fact that Cian O'Sullivan took just 4 days holidays in September. He worked full days on the Monday-Thursday leading up to the All Ireland (worked very late on Thursday after training, as mid/late September is busy season in his job). Took Friday off and Mon-Wed inclusive the following week, back to work on Thursday.

Good to know. I have heard often that they get special treatment, I'll be only too happy to debunk it from now on.

Under 21 grade 2 fnal which they won last year bow wow..... being a Senior team and acting like a senior club  should be of the upmost importance... what a shower of yaps they are my god....

Yes. These fellas are all ireland intermediate champions. If they go back down and challenge for that again it makes a mockery of it. Pretending to improve isn't enough.

Todays attendance in @CrokePark was 36,574 #AllianzLeague

Nice little earner for the GAA. Their Golden Goose keeps laying the Golden eggs!

Modest enough crowd for a double bill with Dublin involved.

Many in Dublin can't afford the rent nowadays never mind trips to Croke Park every weekend. North inner City Dublin is becoming impossible for Dubs to live in.
