Person of Interest reached its end in an unusually accomplished and satisfactory way for a TV series. So much so it needs a eulogy.

Scroll back far enough and you'll find me condemning series 1 of this show as steaming horseshit. But once the longer narrative started to play out in series 2, it became rather clever. Series 3 was absolutely genius. Series 4 and 5 not quite the same heights but each had 4-5 staggeringly good episodes.

If somehow HBO could take control of the team behind this concept, and give them a Wire-style freedom from making self contained episodes, in favour of always feeding an extended narrative, it could be the greatest TV ever.
One series I will have to catch up on, watched up to series 3 and have been meeting to get 4 & 5 watched

The new Twin peaks episodes was on Sky Atlantic last night. Weird shite altogether.
I fell asleep twice.
I had to have it explained to me what was happening in the dream sequence, I found a good explanation here http://www.thewrap.com/twin-peaks-dream-sequence-analysis-analyzed-dale-cooper-laura-palmer/,
after that I had another look at the episode and it's pretty good, really well done.
Though it's still weird shite altogether
Episode 3 and 4 was more comical viewing but still some weird shite altogether.

Finished series 2 of Billions there. Much much better than the 1st series. Such a well performed show.
It's great. Wouldn't have minded seeing a bit more of Chuck's missus in her "party gear" though  :-X :-*

Finished season 1 just now and have season 2 lined up for the rest of June (I'm a slow viewer, maybe 3 episodes a week).

Very intriguing shenanigans all over the place...great viewing.

Just finished season 1 of 'The Girlfriend Experience' on Amazon prime there. A law student turned high class escort. Decent show. Just don't watch it with the children around! A right bit of dirt in it.

Had a day off there and watched it over the weekend/Monday. Sakes Jim that's as grim a series as I've ever watched. Very dark!!!

Poldark kicks off again this Sunday evening, 9PM.

Wonder is Ross the da of the young Warleggan ba due any day now as he'd a bit of bump and grind with the childhood sweetheart Elizabeth after the cousin (and her husband) passed away who married that snivelling wee shit George Warleggan the da before he goes and bankrupts Rosses mine by calling in the depts.

It's all go down in Cornwall with all the eye candy of Demelza, Elizabeth and the lovely Lady Caroline Penvenen

You watched it though  ;) I see the next season hasn't been released but Anna Friel is in it.

Can't get into Person of Interest at all. Will stick with it but it's boring me slightly.

Watched the finale of Leftovers S3 (to be aired in UK in July). An underwhelming finale and S3 overall was just ok. It couldn't live up to S2 anyway, S2 was just outstanding TV.

I was the same with Person of Interest and sacked it off after about 5 episodes. I like the sound of The Girlfriend Experience. Last episode of House of Cards tonight and then a new boxset will be hit.

You watch some shite.

POI is brilliant.

The Leftovers was a brilliant show, unique in that it was all done in 3 short seasons.

Didn't realise it's back on, think it's a great show to be honest

Very disappointed to learn that Designated Survivor has 21 episodes instead of the 12 episodes I thought it was. I'm far enough into it that I need to finish it out but my god it's awful
