Some of the 1995 panel gathered at an event for Jody Gormley.
Great photo albeit in very sad circumstances 🙏

Just read that Jody gormley article in the Irish news. Rough  :(

Jody's attitude is very inspiring. Has great strength and dignity with it all. Very tough on his family and those closest to him 🙏

Tragic, very very sad. What a great GAA man and person first and foremost

Any more word on Senior call ups or what other additional players have been drafted in to training?

Mikhailov

Have they actually met up for training as a group yet.
Technically you can't start until December 7th but I assume all counties are doing S&C and running in smaller groups so Tyrone are probably the same

RoundBall

Try telling Jimmy McGuinness that, donegal training 3 times a week collectively over a month now

Mark Bradley - Killyclogher
Rory Brennan - Trillick
Cathal Donaghy - Loughmacrory
Peter Teague - Dromore
Richie Donnelly - Trillick
Ben Gormley - Dungannon

Paul Donaghy turned down the chance to return. Never heard of anyone else.
Tiernan McCann called back up as well. Panel of 48 at present to be cut to 35 for the National League.

Fair play to Tiernan if he's gone back to trials and training panels, would be easy to say no entering mid 30s and with a couple of years having your freedom back, but it shows how much he values the jersey and if he could play a part even as supporting cast for a year or 2 i'm sure it would pay forward setting a standard and guiding younger players coming through, even if he doesn't make the 35 i'm impressed he's rolled the dice

Its important to keep Petey, Matty, Morgan and McCurry as long as it works for all while newer lads come through from recent U20 batches, lads on the bench/training group need club games if they aren't getting minutes for the county, that'll be a hot potato with the stared system, hopefully a solution can be found, even just base on minutes, player x has played 0 competitive minutes in 5 months ... release to club for league games, i'm sure they do similar with the international rugby team balancing between province and national teams

T McCann quality player. Hopefully the injury crisis on last year is behind us now

Is there not serious doubts around Meyler returning at all? Big fitness concerns around Burns, McGeary and McShane to.

With Teague, Brennan, r Donnelly, T McCann plus the young call ups should help in comparison to last year
