I'm a bit confused about the hullabaloo surrounding this. Is this not just a story about a minor celebrity presenter of a niche TV programme on BBC2 doing something that deservedly got him the sack?

He's a bit more than a minor celebrity and Top Gear is far from Niche it is the BBC's most successful programme ever as well as the most exported programme they have!!

Having said that I'm not a fan and I'm definitely no fan of Clarkson so it's no massive concern to me. Other TV Stations will be falling over themselves to get them in but they'll have difficulty editorially when they have sponsors and a Commercial TV Station to deal with!!
