Tough one to take alright for Clogher. Plenty of room in the calendar for a replay you'd have thought. Cookstown looked dead and buried in extra time. Killeeshil or Aghaloo will be a tricky enough game if either get over the disappointment of a loss in the championship and they make it that far in the playoffs.

Penalties suited the county board when the game doesn't draw as big a gate

If I were from Clogher (thankfully I'm not) I would be appealing the decision for penalties and be looking that game replayed and right it should

League play offs are all decided on penalties, rules are clear enough from start, easy to understand why - as these relegation / promotion play offs will run right  into November, so to add replays in might never get them played with weather etc.

Dungannon defeated Loughmacrory.

Just about.

Duine Inteacht Eile

Some finish to that game.
Despite being entirely neutral I was happy to see Dungannon win after the carry on of the Loughmacrory bench in the dying minutes.

The Loughmacrory supporters behind me were very hard to listen to this afternoon.

The Clarkes won't be happy with how they performed. Doesn't really matter though, they are into the semi final. As for Carrickmore B team, good enough.

Mcelolhm couldn't be contained but still dungannon managed a win. Youngest donaghy not fazed by senior football. Dungannon impact of bench helped but 2 well matched sides

Very well matched, could have went either way near the end.
MO'R has a big first job to try and get McElholm to stay, he is the best U21  forward in the country. Absolute joy to watch, and worth every entrance fee.
Dungannon will need to improve significantly for the semi.

McElholm is a superb footballer and would be a real shame if he went to Oz. The county team could really do with him staying.
James Quinn made a big impact off the bench for the Clarke's but a big improvement overall from the team would be needed for the semi.

Not of much importance but Carney and Donaghy man of the match awards in both games. Kennedy best player by a mile in first game and any of K Barker, M Quinn and Mcelholm second game

Kevin Barker man of the match for me
