Any concept of the domino effect would have a different result on that game

If anything to bring up for carrickmore being " fortunate " would be the point given wide during 2nd half

there was another incident in the 1st half when Killyclogher were coming out of defence had and the pass was going straight to a Killyclogher player but the ref got in the way and Carrickmore got a point from the resulting hop ball.

And they butchered 3 goal chances before the Carmen 4 gifted them one.

Didn't get to watch the games tonight. How did the Greencastle beragh game fair out? Thought Beragh might have had an sos in them.

A good entertaining game. Greencastle were more direct in their play and whilst Beragh had more possession they spent their time moving it round the middle third. When it broke down Greencastle went at them at pace. Cahir McCullagh hit some great points.

Best intermediate game I've seen so far in championship. Beragh could well have had a goal at the end. Think it was the CHB that the ball dropped in front of and he hit it on the half volley instead of catching it to shoot and he sliced it. Could've had another goal after that as well but didn't materialise. Beragh looked weak in terms of squad depth, think they have 3 or 4 key men injured? Greencastle played most of the football though. Far quicker in getting from defence to attack. Think a Greencastle player got away with a stamp on the far side of the pitch from the stand. Enjoyable game overall

Greencastle were good
Lightening fast transition through the hands rarely taking the ball into contact. Cahir McCullagh put on some display of kicking
Year over for Beragh. Will we see Conor Gormley togging out now for the replay on Thursday night?

Clogher relegated on penos. That's a tough one.

Derrylaughan through after a big push in the last 10 minutes. They'll be hard to beat

Yet half the forum would of had you believe Cathal McShane was a leader and was going to run riot all week, said it since post all ireland, he's overrated.

Tough one to take alright for Clogher. Plenty of room in the calendar for a replay you'd have thought. Cookstown looked dead and buried in extra time. Killeeshil or Aghaloo will be a tricky enough game if either get over the disappointment of a loss in the championship and they make it that far in the playoffs.

Penalties suited the county board when the game doesn't draw as big a gate

If I were from Clogher (thankfully I'm not) I would be appealing the decision for penalties and be looking that game replayed and right it should

sam03/05

League play offs are all decided on penalties, rules are clear enough from start, easy to understand why - as these relegation / promotion play offs will run right  into November, so to add replays in might never get them played with weather etc.
