Sean Og Patriots

A lot of teams facing crucial games which will stand to them.  I think this years championship winner will come from the bottom half of the table. Eglish could possibly win there next two games & would it be that much of a shock? 6 games remaining a lot of football to be played. Teams in the middle of the table and safe from relegation will rest key players carrying a knock and try out different things, which could result in teams getting points in places you don't expect.

As in teams like Galbally and Eglish who'll be at the bottom come the end of the league?

You do realise Eglish play Dungannon in one of those 2 games you're talking about.

What is going on with Urney. A team that played division 1 football in 2017, now at the bottom of Tyrone football with no points on the board after 12 games and not able to field in a local derby the other night!

Galbally are safe.

There seem to be a few clubs struggling to keep the head above water. Seeing more and more amalgamations at youth.  If the numbers aren't there we will see clubs disappear or merge like Dregish & Newtownstewart.
Living the dream!!!

Quote from: Easttyrone23 on July 31, 2024, 11:44:26 PMGortin and Moy are starting to pull away as the top 2 in division 2. They are fixed to play each other on the last game of the league which could effectively make that game a league final.

The division 3 league will be decided this weekend with aghaloo playing Drumquin.

Easttyrone23, were you impressed by the Clarkes last night. Coming to the boil at the right time of the season

Very impressed by the Clarkes,  Certainly the best team I've seen so far this season. The speed they have in their team is ridiculous, and have players all over the pitch that can take a score. Can't think of his name but their corner back scored 4 points and I was told by a Clarkes man beside me he is only 18. P Donaghy has to be the best club player in the county without a doubt, Although in saying that I actually thought Conor Quinn done pretty well on him in the second half. The only negative I would give them is they let Galbally back into the game twice when it looked like they were comfortably ahead, just before half time and again with about 15 to go.

From a Galbally point of view I don't think that result is a bad thing in the long run.

What's happened your lads Sean Og? Top of the League with a 100% record after 4 games, and have now lost 5 on the bounce. Suppose you's have all probably fallen out with each other as usual. Yous will have to go back knocking on all the doors in castlecaulfield if yous want to compete with the best team in the Parish 😉.

Oisin Cowan was number 4 and would be around the 24/25 mark.

League decider in Div 3 today
Aghaloo host drumquin
Looks like winner takes league title

Who's the fella over Dungannon. Didn't he manage them before. Did he manage Dungannon swifts or is there some connection there.
Just to pick up in another posters comments on another's teams timidness or maybe the other teams aggression. I'd urge any player reading this not to get involved in any of this bullshit. Just play the game. Some day someone will be killed on a football pitch by a punch,it's upto the players to control themselves on the pitch. This nonsense never seems to happen in championship football just league. Only last year Ryan Coleman suffered a nasty jaw break against Clonoe. Just fricken play the game hard and fair

LeoMc

Good wins for Trillick, Omagh, Ardboe and Coalisland, keeping it all tight at the bottom.
These games will really get teams up to championship speed.

Jerome

Aghaloo defence just not able to cope with Drumquin lively forward lin, unsure of who Drumquin have left but the league is in their hands.

You couldn't predict a game in Divison 2. Form means nothing any week.

Careful with the boasting, Galbally haven't won any of their last three games now.

You are mixed up Easttyrone. Only team who had 100% after 4 games was Carmen.
