Have any teams picked up injuries/men missing since the last round?

Beragh got 3 men sent off Vs Drumragh, so your prediction for them to beat Greencastle baffles me.
Did Beragh get any of their red cards over turned?
Didn't even think there was grounds to appeal, two clear strikes?

Hi All,

Just I thought I'd share my intermediate predictions for the weekend on here.

Greencastle vs Beragh
I think Beragh takes this one. 3 red cards yes but Greencastle are a mediocre side with the exception of mccullagh and 1 or 2 others.
Conor owens be hard to handle if Beragh can provide decent ball in. Will be a tight encounter.

Rock vs Moy
I think the rock take this one, again will be a tight one. With the exception of Michael conroy Moy are a middle table intermediate team and this showed in the second half of the league when he was absent. Not a great look for the future of their club when Sean cavanagh can slot back into 14 for the senior team at 41 years of age. I have seen buses turn faster around the ballygawley roundabout than this man. Be safer playing for tyrone masters and finish on a high as they seem to win the all Ireland every year. With Nugent and Loughran inside they could cause that moy defense serious issues.

Moortown vs Aghyaran
With moortown being raging hot favourites for the championship I think this one is only going one way. Aghyaran struggled to get by a team fighting for safety in div2 and have come up short year after year in the intermediate championship. Butch Kelly back for moortown and the 2 lawns going well. A brilliant scoreline in their first round against a recently promoted side yes but to produce 2-24 all from play is a solid marker to lay down on the championship.

Owen roes vs Derrylaughan
I think derrylaughan take this one. A hot and cold league campaign for them but they seem to be coming together at the right time. Tony Devine a massive loss for Owen Roes, would have been a decent spectacle seeing him and Brian kennedy compete in the middle of the park. If Gary Gormley is appointed for this one - Tomas Carney will be rubbing his hands together. As for Owen Roes they would need to hope McShane has shooting boots on. Rumours he is too busy taking bookings for handing out birthday cakes and singing to get down to the field and work on his shooting.

Who is most likely to cause a big upset this weekend- Ardboe, Clonoe or Aghyaran? Personally wouldn't give the 2 senior teams a chance atall so I'd say Aghyaran

Clonoe to beat Errigal... You haven't a clue. How many Clonoe players would make the Errigal starting 15. McClure doesn't get in over McDonnell or Oguz, their defence is the worst in Tyrone. Not even sure Mcaliskey would make their forward line? Madden should focus on his team rather than articles in the Irish News.

Skeet over Odhran Robinson and Mickey O'Neill over Darragh McAnenly.

Second would be more reflective of their abilities than this years eleventh place finish.

Anyone who thinks clonoe have a chance of turning over Errigal please let me know what it is you are smoking.

And if we are talking combined 15 - Errigal have depth like we have never seen before at club level so to say 11 out of 18 clonoe players feature in this is ridiculous (just read a list above including 3 subs). Talking about boys like Steven mcnulty and comparing him to Ben McDonnell baffles me. Mcnulty is on his last legs and would do well to get through to half time against this Errigal team. Could be a real dampener on the team moral going into the relegation play off for clonoe.

I think trillick win senior again. Been a while since we have seen back to back but I fancy them.

Who do we think is the game of the weekend?

For senior I'm going to say Dungannon and loughmacrory.
Will be a tough one to call, I fancy Dungannon. An impressive first round performance from loughmacrory but I'm not sure if this was a matter of them being good or galbally being horrendous! I have never seen a team play so open defensively in Omagh and only for loughmacrory not taking their chances at times this could of been cricket scores. Loughmacrory a great young side and if Dungannon can't nullify McElholm and McCullagh this team could definitely cause problems for Dungannon.
Dungannon also scraped by Donaghmore but it never was in doubt, as tight as the game was at times you could just sense Dungannon had another gear in them.

For intermediate
I'm going for Moy vs Rock

Both teams had an impressive start to intermediate but fell away for league winning contention in the second half of the league.

As I mentioned in my predictions I think the Rock win this one. The Moys biggest factor is Michael conroy and what he does. Similar to the first round moy will need conroy to shoot the lights out and will look to get him on the ball at every chance they get. There is a few weak links in this Moy chain and i think the rock could exploit them if they can get the right men on the ball. Is Birt still playing for the Moy? I recall he was a force to be reckoned with in his youth, would certainly be more use than that budley Cavanagh.

Beragh v Greencastle - Greencastle +3
Owen Roes v Derrylaughan - Derrylaughen +1/2
Aghyaran v Moortown - Moortown +5/6
Moy v Rock - Moy +3

Carrickmore v Killyclogher - Carrickmore +4
Loughmacrory v Dungannon - Dungannon +2
Ardboe v Trillick - Trillick +3
Errigal Ciaran v Clonoe - Errigal Ciaran +3

Killyclogher probably dreading this game all week. Boys from KC only positive is its a Friday night game so doesn't interrupt their CrossFit Netflix & chill coffee date Saturday afternoon followed by an evening wangtangbangalang.

Tommy Canavan played about 3 games all year. Would agree with this post though. Will take the underdog tag  ;D

Killyclogher done out of a point that looked well in and would have put them 3 ahead.
