It is never widely commented, but Northern Ireland already has a Catholic Majority.  You occasionally see references in articles which claim that NI might have a catholic majority by 2021, but that is simply because the census which will confirm it is happening in 2021.  Statisticians already worked out from previous census figures, birth rates, school rolls, death rates etc, that the day that the number of Catholics overtook the total number of all denomination protestants was some date in early 2017, which was dubbed Lord Brookeborough Day.
