Beach Gaelic Football - Sept 6th - New York

The Long Island Gaels, G.F.C. of New York is hosting its 5th Annual Beach Gaelic Tournament in Long Beach, New York on Saturday, September 6th. This year there is a prize of $5000 expenses to the winning team - kindly sponsored by JT Magen.  The competition is open to male and female clubs competing against each other on the sand. Due to the interest shown by clubs we have a deadline for entry this Saturday - August 23rd.  Entry is on a first come basis.  The fee of $400 per team includes Beach Gaelic shirts in each teams colors and a BBQ on the beach.  There is also a after party in the Big Kahuna where the trophy and giant size cheque will be awarded to the winning team.  The entrance fee must reach the club before entry is guaranteed.  Please email beachgaelic@gmail.com for more information or call Thomas Cormack on (516) 379-4024.  For more information and directions to the tournament - please visit www.beachgaelic.com

Bad news tournament called off due to weather. Storm expected today! May be on next week not sure but.
