That free  given to level it for Tyrone for McCurry simply diving to collect the ball

Then playing on minutes over, refusing to blow the final whistle until Monaghan got the ball

Rank amateur shite

He jumped on his back. Free all day and considering some of the soft frees given to Monaghan Tyrone were well due one. Minutes later when Kilpatrick had his shirt pulled over his head that was no free.
The ref had a stinker and the GAA should probably stand him down.

A game of two halves.

Tyrone were going well in the first half, Monaghan living off a very poor referring performance. Some very soft and questionable frees.
10 and 20 from Monaghan had great games, constantly running at the Tyrone defence. Can't for the life of me understand the thought process of leaving Burns on for so long. He was having a stinker. McGeary not brilliant either. Morgan with another horror show. Missed a straight forward FK, kickouts in 2nd half not great and getting beat for the goal at the end. He's an outfield player in goals. It's not working.
Don't get the love for Beggan, didn't think he was that great to be honest.
McCurry and Canavan had great games, but they were constantly caught in a web of Monaghan men.
When was the last time Tyrone conceded 2-17? A freak result.

Anyway thems the breaks.

For the neutral it must've been one of the best games in a long time.

Great results for Utd!! They'll need them considering they'll have to play own goal Maguire!
Any news on Varane/Shaw? Take it Martinez is out for the foreseeable ffs. Is Lindelof fit?

Could Rio Ferdinand come out of retirement? Anything is better than slab head.

Bring bag big Phil Jones  ::)
He did rightly in the one game he played last year. Pity he's made of glass

He was shite and was at fault for the goal. He's and embarrassment

Fair enough. Do nothing like you have done for over 10 years now.

Apologies, you have of course written "Get it built" on social media 10s of thousands of times and had some marvellous photo shoots. Keep it going cos it's working tremendously well.

Believe me if I was in charge of this project it would be built by now.

Solution: Take your £77 million and build what you can. If you require any further funds, raise them yourself.
You shit the bed. Lie in it or clean it up yourself.

No.

I think a lot will change in the next 10 years.

Now is like the old science experiment when it took ages for the water to change colour, then with one drop, the colour changes dramatically.

This is what is happening now with the demographics and the next few years, things will change dramatically.

Demographics is the big shaker now.

If you think demographics and demographics alone will deliver a united Ireland you are deluded.

Demographics alone won't work because too many nationalists leaning people don't vote or spunk their vote on the alliance party who talk a good game but literally have zero interest in a UI

You are right, demographics alone won't work but when the UK slides further into economic turmoil after Brexit, guess which part of it will bare the brunt? That and demographics will be the death of the union and the unionists know this but they just can't process it.

If people on here think that unionism will change overnight, you's are deluded.

In 2023, the anti-Irish manifesto is still alive and well.  Actually worse since the 1920's.

And then people think that unionism can be talked to etc.

How's that going?

Hard-line unionists definitely not. The Union is above everything, health, prosperity, everything. Nothing trumps "Our Precious Union".
I think we need to convince some on what would be deemed "our side" who get lumped in with Nationalists and probably some even vote SF. We could start convincing them. And once we've done that we could move on to trickier targets like Alliance voters.

We need a state of the art stadium. Just f**king build it.
I've been hearing that same simplistic bullshit tagline for over 10 years now.
Meaningless drivel.

What's your solution? Clones? With the piss swirling round your feet and no cover.
We deserve a comfortable modern stadium to watch our games in. End of.

Fair play to the Leinster council. Their commitment to running this sham competition is unrivalled anywhere in modern day sport.

Apart from maybe the SFA and their "Premier League"

I used to care about value for money and good governance, I honestly did but lately I'm like what is the point? The money will be spunked on some other useless project. I couldn't care if it costs 1 billion. I never see any government money anyway. It's all wasted. Heath service, Infrastructure, Community out-reach, SIF, it's all useless. We are governed by absolute morons and people continue to vote them in, so f**k them. In fact the more it costs the better. The more it hurts the better.

I have been forced to take an "I'm alright jack" approach due to the incompetence of government here to deliver services. I'm fortunate that I can afford private health care, I can afford to pay for tutors, and other things. I'm lucky and I'm grateful for it. But look at even this week. A real chance to spin NI in a positive light, opportunity to appeal for investment from the USA but what happens? The DUP and others snub the President. We could all achieve so much more but nothing ever changes and it never will, and you know what? A lot of my friends and family see it the same way.

And while I'm at it, what is the point of that McGeehan lad in the Ulster Council? What does he do apart from pose for pictures?

I've been to many many matches are never heard anything untoward.

That said, if I did hear any racial slurs then I would be giving the culprit an earful.

I once heard a Dublin supporter shout at Seán Óg Ó hAilpín to go back to Africa, he moderated his tone when I threatened to kick him up and down the steps of Croke Park.

And him not even African descent!

You can accept that it is going to be £100 million over budget if you wish but there will be many that won't. They won't see it as a good investment of £162 million. They won't see that incompetence deserves to be rewarded and they won't agree to it and politely ask the GAA to lump it. Those are people with influence at Stormont and it's hard to say that they are wrong. Indeed, if this was an IFA project, I suspect you might think differently.

I would to be fair. But Rugby and Soccer got the exact stadiums they wanted.

Last effort at building sthing (Dungiven by pass) properly over here, opened just last week, a year late, overspend and that bad, they wouldn't release any information about it. Hardly an endorsement to give some local Joe Blogg's contractor to built a stadium. Effort  before, the Ulster University, millions overspend and finished 2yrs+ late.

At this point we need to accept that it will be late and 100m over budget. Incompetence reigns in NI. Civil Servants and other not for profit bodies seem to have some sort of magnet in attracting unemployable gobshites.
