Any ideas why Down is so far behind the other counties in their championship? Could we end up with another scenario like the Donegal one last year.

Derry have produced some fantastic Minor teams over the years

No correlation between minor success and senior success in Armagh. What about other counties?
Not a lot of Tyrone club success to base it on, bit like Senior club really.

Errigal (2012) & Coalisland (2010) both won championships 7 & 4 years respectively after winning minor Ulsters. In addition Omagh would be expected to win a senior championship in the next couple of years based on the players they have.

Dungannon were the exception, they went down not too many years after their success.

Monaghan only have one winner there so not much to go on either, but that Clontibret team that won in 2002 had won 3 Monaghan minors on the trot and were in the Ulster final in 2001 aswell. The players from the 2000-2002 teams formed the majority of the Clontibret teams that won 4 senior championships between 2006-2010.

Can Glen do the 3-in-a-row?

Glen have 11/12 that played in last year's final back (most of these were also involved the year before). If they get out of Derry (tight final expected against Slaughtneil, though Glen would be favourites) they will be hard to stop. Enda Gormley has moved on to the senior team though, so his influence could be missed.
