Monaghan people are born with that rare genetic disorder, a chip on both shoulders. After years of high-pitched whining some have one removed but thusfar it has been proved impossible to remove both chips off a Monaghan man's shoulders.

MOM had to be Martin Reilly but Ronan Flanagan was a close second. Very important that London are not taken for granted. The team should all be shown a video of that Waterford game in Breffni when Keogan was manager. Anything other than the same attitude leaves you open to a sucker punch. I'm sure Terry and the team will not allow that to happen.

Mc Elkannon was the boss that day Myles.

By all accounts Saturday in Celtic Park will live long in the memory of all true Cavan supporters who have seen more bad days than good over the years. The diehards who have followed Cavan through thick and thin deserve displays and results like Saturday. They finally have a Senior team to be truly proud of. Onwards and upwards. The future is definitely blue.

Not the best draw, not the worst draw. We can approach the game full of confidence now and if we can get a couple of points up it will be one hell of a battle for Derry. Thought Killian Clarke had one hell of a game his running in defence alone a few times where he didn't get the ball to make space for others was worth it. Along with McVitty great that Declan McKiernan got a chance to get rid of the demons. He came on and consistently did simple stuff with the ball and made sure we played it out comfortably. Maybe one of mentors should just stay in the stand is that just a distraction that a team can do without

Probably not the wisest thing for Martin to do alright but it shows the passion he has for this group of players. He is a great man to have around a panel, very positive and I wouldn't come down heavy on him for losing his cool on Saturday.
Overall we couldn't ask for much more from this group of lads. The championship campaign has brought us 3 wins which hasn't happened since 2005 and in general Terry has us moving in a steady upwards curve and he has got the Cavan support back behind the Senior team which is a feat in itself.
Derry away will be tough but the lads will give it a good rattle and considering how Westmeath, who gained promotion along with Derry, came undone, Cavan with the same attitude again will have nothing to fear.

And you'd remind me of one of those boys who would stand up for nothing for fear of making a scene.

Rossfan is making a scene though. That damn insurance levy, damn them Quinns, the cheek of them, why can't they just take it up the arse and quit fighting back and then everything would be rosy. Sure Rossfan just won't give up on it. He is planning a protest at the Connacht final. In order to stop the scene I think we should have a whip-round for poor old Rossfan. 2% of lets say €1500. €30 anybody for poor old Rossfan?

In previous years I may have agreed with Tommy regarding team selection but I think this year what the management have done has to be respected. There seems to be foresight in terms of giving lads proper chances to make an impact. We have some good options on the bench also which may give us a Plan B. Some people are worrying about Jamie Clarke, I think Mc Laughlin is up to the job but if he's not I believe we have Minagh and Killian the Gunner who could do the job.
No matter the result on Sunday I don't envisage a performance like the one we saw against Donegal two years ago. This team appears to be making progress, slowly but surely, and they deserve the backing of everybody on Sunday. Best of luck to all involved.

Fire sale at Everton and Celtic then so. They'll be gutted by the summer without a manager to keep them together.

Could very well be Trileacman. I would say there is a good chance Fellani , Baines , Mirallas , Piennar and Jelavic could all be searching for the exit door from Everton this summer. After 11 years of stability we could be back to the dark days again for a couple of years anyway, At this stage I would take a boring mid table finish next season regardless of who takes the job.

The three in bold would want to wind their neck in. Mirallas has alot to prove yet. Piennar should know where his best interests are served after his last misjudgement.Jelavic may just flourish again under a different manager but would many clubs take that risk on him after the second half of the season he's after having.

Thank you David Moyes.Outstanding manager and I wish him all the best as much as that will pain me.
Lennon has gone from 10-1 to 8-15 with PP in d last hour?? :o I like what Lennon has done with Celtic this season but I would like the club to take some time over this decision. We need a man who will convince our big men to stay.

Jesus lads lay off Gary Donohoe a bit would ye. He was the manager (not sidekick) when we finally won a Minor Championship in Ulster after a gap of 37 years. He wasn't the first choice for the job at the time but he got it and brought us success. The County Board are hardly going to sack him a few weeks before the first championship match. I know a few lads who speak highly of him from his time in Belturbet and I know the Kildallan boys had good time for him when he helped out last year.
I would be more worried about some decisions being made at the moment regarding the club Minor fixtures, or lack of in the county or the moves to pull out all the full-time coaches from the National schools.
And Rodney listen to Westside; Gary Donohoe is from Drumreilly in Leitrim. His brother Pat won a Connaught medal in 1994 for Leitrim.

I wish Gearoid all the best and hope that he comes back a better player. Second time doing the ACL I believe so he should know what it takes to get back.

The most important thing this weekend is making sure the stone throwers do not achieve (a thoroughly undeserved) promotion this weekend. This should be the priority of all counties in all four divisions this weekend so I hope there will be multilateral talks and cooperation at all levels. Tyrone, Louth and the Dubs are already on board for obvious reasons. Canavan has been on to Mugsy who has dyed his hair black and will line out for Fermanagh under the name Mugsy Malone. Paddy Keenan and Alan Brogan have also offered their services for one day only. We can get this done lads with one final push.
