I was in and they put in a very good first half turned over at 7 points all. Second half kildare dominated and won easily. Kildare ability to kick long range points killed the laois defensive structure. I think their keeper kicked 4 frees from 45 mtrs and then they got a few from play from that distance too. Once they got ahead the laois lads struggled to get the ball up the field and then when they did the support just couldn't get there quick enough. Laois probably left 4 or 5 simple points behind them too. Some fine footballers there despite the loss
You do well 2 explain this one

In fairness we have roughly 2/3rds of Clare's population. It does matter, despite some people telling you it doesn't. We're also a proper dual county, unlike counties such as Monaghan, who are predominantly football. The odds are seriously stacked against us, and we must remember that always when we're beating ourselves up. The example above of Ciaran Archer is a good one. It's inconceivable that he's not good enough for Dublin; we'd spend the next 10 years coming to that conclusion, and we have with plenty of similar types
lacks pace cant win or create own ball n scores. obvious from long way out

I have to say that the tributes to Ross both on here and in Laois GAA in general have been pathetic. And then you wonder why lads don't commit? Depressing.
i sets up a thread and its ignored, youd wonder alright. hes the goat.
