As long as the gold makes it's way across to the Sixtowns I'm all for it . . .

Dalradian are looking to start work up through Sixtowns, Draperstown and right through the Sperrin to near Derry City. This isn't just a Greencastle problem.

This is extremely dangerous stuff, using Cyanide to process the gold they find in Greencastle and Rouskey. If that gets into the water, it'll affect the whole island.

To date, Dalradian's fact has changed in each interview they've done. The number of jobs it will create, the amount of gold there is, what the plans are for Greencastle.

The information they gave their stockholders is very different to what is happening in Greencastle.

No-one is going to benefit from this but the International Shareholders and the British Crown.

Her indoors' family from Greencastle, this has split families and caused rows with people taking opposite sides. I've heard some of the underhand stuff and the stuff some people mightn't find important, but it is to the locals who have been there from the year dot, this will not end well

I see the oul gay cake is back in the news today as more British taxpayers' money is to be wasted on bringing The Supreme Court to Belfast for a week next April to hear the sacred testimony of those decent Christian folks, The MacArthurs. Jesus will sadly not be in attendance as he's having his 40 days off. But, the Lord is on their side. Keep those pesky gays to their vile nightclubs. Praise be.

A friend of a friend was recently sacked by Ashers, because the owner didn't like his attitude. The person had only worked for Ashers for a couple of months, did his job and never had any complaints.

There is a semblance of a point to Tony's argument here.. His jokes are shite almost all the time pathetic even but were they said about different people or even by someone other than Tony they'd pass by almost unnoticed.

There a fair bit of playing the man not the ball going on..

I agree.  There's a fair bit of "neck winding in" required here too.  Let's face it, the comment may have failed the first rule of comedy i.e. it wasn't funny, but there's a queue forming here to see who can be the first to be offended and who can be most offended.

Sorry boys but I don't agree with this, I personally have no gripe whatsoever with TF, but I do find that joke crass. As someone who has watched his wife suffer for 5 years with cancer I found that joke in poor taste.

Ah Ffs I didn't mean them in any malicious way.I meant them the way Denis Law intended when he spoke at George Best's funeral, during the service in the presence of the family, when he said and I quote "I am surprised Bestie turned up today!" Like me , he wasn't mocking a death either.

The mock outrage of the usual subjects here is hypocritical.Plenty of celebrity deaths on this Board have been greeted with absolute and genuine  glee,Margaret Thatcher for example.

What planet are you living on? It doesn't matter if you you didn't mean it in a malicious way, it just wasn't funny, it was downright sick.

And for you to then try and use Maggie Thatcher to deflect your ignorance is just as bad.

Don't know if you have ever tried it but an apology or admittance of your stupidity might have been better

In our workplace someone has come up with the idea of turning ALL the toilets into gender neutral toilets. If it comes off it'll cost the organisation a clean fortune.
Personally I think its  a load of non-balls

I've done some work with the Ulster Scots Agency, the chief executive sent me a "Happy New Years message", I replied as gaeilge. Must admit though that I face palmed looking at some of their words and dialect.
