Had a peek in reservoirdubs.....why is Gilroy referred to as "wheelroy" by some Dubs ?

It must have something to do with the fact that a lot of people suspect that he is just the front man and that Mickey Whelan is actually running the show. The feeling was that Whelan was a little too abrasive for the taste of the Dublin CB so Gilroy came in with all the business-like chatter and Whelan got on with the job of running the football team. First Branjolina, then Jedward now Wheelroy. Just a theory.
