Captain Obvious

#1785
Carlo Ancelotti starting to show his worth now. If Everton can keep key players fit they might finish the season in the top 4, Pickford as dodgy as ever though.

Bronco

Not sure the defence is up to a top 4 finish unless other contenders make a mess of things. They'd need to improve on Pickford, Coleman and Keane.

If key players got injured they would be in trouble too, the likes of Walcott and Iwobi are nowhere near good enough to be starting regularly.

Iwobi did well there but still not great. Walcott might as well not have been there. Mina excellent there. Two goal difference probably about right.

James Rodriguez was finished they said....  8)

Everton must be favourites now for the Merseyside Derby next week...
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Heady times....but first 10 games don't really count.... ;)

Look very effective going forward but very suspect at the back. Pickford and absolute bomb scare.

Didn't play well, few players off the pace, Andre gomes and Richarlison especially. still unbeaten though and still top.

The people's team did well and should have won. But Pickford?  I think he would have been not only under suicide watch but also protective custody had VAR not  intervened with the slide rule in such dramatic fashion.

pickford is a liability, mixes some brillant saves with some awful mistakes. Has at least one mistake in him every game.

What's the story with the Swedish guy? Is he likely to take pickford's place?

going by reports hes not much of an upgrade on pickford, signed more as an experienced understudy. Evertons 2nd choice keeper before olsen was a kid from the u23s.

Pickford combines world class and catastrophic all in one game(regularly). Be better if he were replaced.

Mr. Nakata

Bit disappointed today with our performance and a few shocking VAR decisions. Richarlison should've had a penalty when his shirt was pulled for the header that hit the post...and he clearly wins the ball for the red card. We're gonna miss him now for the next 3 games. Hopefully young Gordon gets the nod over Iwobi.

How did all the officials and VAR not see this tackle? Red card all day.
And the jersey pull on Richy when he headed it against the post.
