Quote from: thewobbler on Today at 01:29:37 PMNot honestly sure I could pick 3 Nirvana songs I like without using the Unplugged album.

Loved Nevermind when it first came out, but Nirvana are just a little too raw, too intense for a soft old chap like me.

I do think  your music tastes  change as you  get older.  I was a big U2 fan but I  struggled to name  a top 3 for them.

I find myself now pulling towards Neil Diamond and Kris Kristofferson. My younger self would hate me lol.

Rightfully so!

;D  Indeed! Can't  abide Diamond, but that's for another day....
Sweet Caroline has ruined it.

Quote from: Caitlin on May 12, 2024, 07:19:07 PMThree questions;
1. How much do Armagh pay their psychologist?
2. Is he a GAA man?
3. Is he a sports psychologist ?
Mind you, McGeeney has questions to answer. Jarly Og should have gone for a score from that mark. Disappointed for all the Armagh supporters, my extended family have supported them through thick and thin but this is cruel.
Under a different manager he would have.

Quote from: thewobbler on May 12, 2024, 06:19:33 PMNeither of teams deserve to win.

The very least thing anyone should do sport is try to win.

Neither team tried to win that game.

Sport ruining c***ts, one and all.
Armagh's problems clearly stem from the sideline.

Armagh don't want to win this.

Keep a Rangers jersey by the front door and slip it on before opening the door.

Quote from: RedHand88 on May 09, 2024, 08:23:59 PMDoes anyone else think its getting ridiculous? We've had our 3rd knock at the door in a week. 5th in a few months. It feels like every club in the country is selling £20 tickets for a raffle at the minute.

Do people buy every ticket that comes to the door? Do they hide under the stairs?

Ticket sellers on here... what's the success rate like?
And you can't say you've no cash in the house anymore as the hoors have card machines now!

Smells Like Teen Spirit
Where Did You Sleep Last Night

Last is an old folk song "In the Pines" most associated with the legendary Huddie Ledbetter, but of much older origin (possibly a murder ballad of Irish or Scots origin in the vein of Rose Connolly). Anyway Kurt makes it his own in the unplugged performance.
That's a great song. The Man Who Sold The World from Unplugged is in several of my playlists.

"The court heard Mohamed claimed to be from Somalia, which he had fled in 2017. He was in direct provision in Italy before being refused asylum in Germany, Italy and France. He travelled to Holland, where he got a false Swedish passport, which he destroyed while travelling to Ireland.

He applied for asylum in Ireland on his arrival in February 2022 and was placed in hotel accommodation in Dublin, where he lived until his arrest. His asylum application has not been decided."

Don't be a racist now Kidder. You don't know what experiences these people have been through  ;)

Quote from: paddyjohn on May 07, 2024, 08:34:33 PMTragic news coming out of the Shane O'Neills club this evening. Thoughts and prayers are with them all.
They'll have been home from NY on a high and then this lands on their doorstep.
