Apparently 200m to spend this summer. Not sure if that's yen or rupees.

200m isnt enough to sort out a good team and bench

man u will spend more than that
It becomes a bigger issue if your decent players start wanting to leave due to lack of CL matches. Yes, money will be made form their sale but you are then looking at purchasing an unknown quantity. Yesterday's defeat was a real hammer blow but as the lads have said not surprising at all. It is incredibly frustrating to see and I've certainly almost become accustomed to them f**king up against teams in the lower half, yet raising their game for the top 6 to 8 teams.

Over the past few years they have had decent firepower to score goals but are limited defensively. Especially at set pieces and if you have a team more commited and comfotable going forward, then against the lower teams who are sitting deep absorbing pressure, you leave yourself susceptible to goals from a counter-attack.

Fed up talking about it to be honest  :'(

Do you really believe this? It's all about money. The CL argument is used as an excuse to move to a club that can pay a bigger salary.

The problem is you have to pay bigger salaries to get these players. As in the case of Pogba.

Look at who they've left to play, or even the players they've still to face. Troy f**king Deeney openly boasted about physically bullying the Liverpool defence last year. Andy Carroll and the likes of James Collins will probably wreak havoc on set pieces when they play West Ham. They've played Southampton three times this season and are yet to score a goal. Would anyone be shocked to see Liverpool take six points from these last four matches?

Fact is, win all four and it will probably be enough given the fixtures the others have. But who really believes they will?

City and Arsenal will get the last two Champions League spots imo.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Armamike

Liverpool will probably drop more points as has been their form since December.  They can and do beat teams lower down the table as the past few weeks have shown, but just can't do it consistently enough. If they did they would be first or second in the table!  This is where Liverpool has been at most seasons for donkey years so it's nothing new really. If Liverpool do manage to pull off a top 4 finish it will be the exception.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Surely Klopp can't fail to get top 4 with the easy run-in Liverpool have?  He'd be hard pressed to mess it up.

you show such faith in Klopp yet think he is a bad manager, how many bad managers make the top four in England?

Catch yourself on.

Good win for yer U23s last night against Man City. It handed the title to Everton who ye play in the final game to come second.
Any Irish players in there?
Everton have a striker and good scoring winger Harry Charsley who was the U23 top scorer.

Haven't seen much of Stallions musings lately since I discovered the ignore function. But if I was to assume for a second that you were not just a moron could you clarify one thing for me on Klopp. You have repeatedly pointed out that he makes rubbish signings and has no clue tactically but yet should easily finish in the top four?

Surely for Liverpool to be pushing for the top 4 he must be either

a) a piss poor judge of players hence his failings in the transfer market but makes up for it through his outstanding management of said players. Or
b) a piss poor manager of players but the players he selects are so good that even Klopp's tactical ineptitude can't prevent them from finishing in the top 4?

The Stallion

Or c) - he has a squad capable of finishing top 4 and is helped by the fact City, Utd Arsenal and Spurs had European games which take a significant toll while Liverpool should be fresh for every game. Not to mention the fact Arsenal stopped playing months ago and Guardiola is doing his best to make a balls of City's chances by wasting millions on some substandard players.

There seems to be a misconception that if you finish top four you must be a good team. Many poor sides have finished top four.

Moyes is not a bad manager, he was simply in over his head and was too loyal to his Everton coaches, thats what did him in.
