General discussion / Dentists in the North
December 05, 2007, 02:59:30 PM
how many of ye in the north are experiencing your dentist leaving the NHS to go private?
got a letter last week, £14/month direct debit, this compares to £20 odd twice a year before!
plus the £14 dosnt cover any work done just check ups!Think its a bit rough, dont mind paying for dental care but seems he's putting his arm in a bit?!while also saying he cant guarantee a drastic reduction in waiting times!!!! ???
also harder to find NHS dentists as a lot seem to be heading this way!

People could make the same arguments for drink - ie if you fell blocked it was your own fault, or if you were attacked while drunk (stats say that most people that are attacked at night are drunk even if they are completely innocent) its also your own fault. Likewise smoking infact you could make the argument that anyone seriously hurt playing sport or racing cars (legitimately) had it coming since they endangered themselves. And as for rock climbers dont get me started..

Obviously you dont drink though Tankie do you..

It is rediculous to compare a drug overdose or a Class A drug to a sports injury.

Its illegal drug that is running our society, everybody knows the HIGH risk involved in taking coke, everybody knows people die every year from it but yet i should feel sorry for another person who takes it and knows all the risks ::)

Is it not a bit hypacritical to tell even not to take it as it is so dangerous but if you die we will all feel sorry for you and your illegal drug taking. On this board it was pointed out that people like that young plumber got shot dead because of drugs and if people like Bonner didnt take them he may well be alive now! The people i feel sorry for are the families who have to go through this just because their son, daughter, sister, brother decided they would take a chance with a high risk class A drug.

If the choice of survive was between the illegal drug user in a comma or the innocent plumber i know who i would rather see walking around.

smoking?

im not disputing that it has got better, what i am saying is that as wealthy as the country has become there still seems to be defiencies in services, one of the most expensive places to live <ie dublin 13th most expensive city in the world (http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/popups/costofliving/popup05.html)> and for what reason? would you not say in comparision to many other cities below us in that list that dublin (ireland as a whole) has a distinct lack of leisure services, dosnt social life still revolve around the pub?

will miss arthur and naka (think he is 100% out),  what ye's think teamwise?

      AB/MB,
GC, SMCM, JK, LN,
PH, SB, JJ, AMCG,
  SMCD, JVOH

I'd prefer to see O'Dea playing instead of either Kennedy or Naylor to be honest
but I reckon you are near what GS will select.

its a hard call for him though

will he go with the 451 initially with Hartley playing his suerb holding middle midfield role protecting that very shaky back 4.
or
will he go 442 and go after the win Celtic need.

I think he will start out cautious, then go for the win.
I think Jarosik will start, Donati seems to be out of favour following his tem loss in form.

Brown in the middle, McGeady on the left, with JJ or Hartley a toss up for the other wing and central midfield slot.Prob JJ on the wing.
I'd expect
AB
GC, SMCM, JK, LN,
JJ, SB, PH, AMCG,
  SMCD, JVOH

think it has to be 442 would be a disaster to start cautiously at home, would let shaktar settle into the game, with the ball thumped up to scott at every oportunity the defence would surely be on top, need to hit them right from the start!!

btw did donati ever have much form?bit of a disappointment i think!

PS shaktar not going so well in the league and check out this from a recent game!!
