General discussion / Negative Equity NI
February 28, 2018, 05:00:11 PM
Im looking for some advice or someone who had dealt with a company in Belfast Negative Equity NI

Basically my situation is this.  I have a house jointly owned with a friend which is in Negative Equity. Mortgage @ 130k value @ £80k - £100k so we went for a meeting with these guys in Belfast to see what my options where.  They have proposed that that we make an Informal Settlement with the bank.  Basically we instruct them to sell the house, and then they negotiate an informal settlement with the bank.  So instead of paying back the 30 - 50k  difference it would be between 6K and 10K.

I am however very sceptical off these guys because normally if something is too good to be true - it normally is. I currently have a home in my own name where my family are living and my friend has the same setup.

The other option which I probably will go through with is selling it an making up the difference ourselves.

Just looking to get some info on these guys..  ???

September 03, 2008, 04:15:46 PM
Have to say this last while i really enjoy darragh maloney as a commentator.  Id even go as far to say id prefer him to ger canning....He never misses a thing...bit like Andy Gray on sky sports.......Is it a foregone conclusion that Canning gets the all ireland final??

GAA Discussion / Brian McGuigans Bad Luck
May 14, 2007, 09:53:55 AM
Tyrone Playmaker Brian Mc Guigan's injury woes continue with news filtering through that he suffered another bad injury during a club reserve game.  It is believed that after a hefty tackle, mc guigan emerged with facial wounds and seemed badly shaken.  He was kept over night in hospital and it is believed that he may require eye surgery following the injury.  This comes as a serious blow to the red hands as without his footballing genius, tyrone may not be the force they once were.  Indeed our thoughts lie with Brian, his friends and family.  We wish him a speedy recovery.

GAA Discussion / Memorable Pieces of Commentary
November 22, 2006, 09:28:35 AM
Looking back over the years, are there many good lines of commentary which stick out.  I no theres that rabbit chasing the fox and things like that but apart from that....A few that stick out in my memory are...

1983 A1 Final ' Kieran duff has apparently flatened someone over there on the far side........And hes been put off!'

1994 Ulster Semi Final 'Linden slips it to the pocket man.....the shot....the goal......!!
