Have to disagree with you there Benny, although the competition is not the shinning light the Ulster Council wanted it to be, it gives you competitive games which are organised for you and a ref laid on for you, rather having to arrange friendlies that now have to go through Croke Park clearence and arrange your own official. Also gives the lads experience of playing clubs from other counties

Hurling is harder to win because of the immense skill level you have to get yourself to to play at the top level, Once there then maybe they might be slightly easier if you get my point.

In the comparison with O'se and Shefflin. O'Se has been a quality midfielder but by no way is he one of the greatest in his position. Shefflin is well on his way to becoming one of the greatest hurlers of his generation if not ever.

The Football Association has charged Chelsea for failing to control their players during the 2-0 defeat away at Manchester United on Sunday.
Assistant boss Steve Clarke has also been charged with using abusive and/or insulting words towards officials.

Chelsea were incensed by referee Mike Dean's decision to send off Nigerian midfielder Mikel Jon Obi in the first half for a challenge on Patrice Evra.

Chelsea and Clarke have until 12 October to respond to the charges.


The Blues contested Mikel's red card, but the FA rejected their appeal and his three-match ban was upheld.

England captain John Terry has not been sanctioned, after he appeared to grab Dean's red card as he was sending Mikel off.
Reports suggested Dean had included Terry's actions in his official report, but only Chelsea and Clarke have been charged by the FA.

The last 18 months have seen Chelsea embroiled in a series of run-ins with the English game's governing body.

In April 2006, they were fined £10,000 for the same charge of failing to control players after members of the team surrounded referee Mark Halsey during a match against West Brom.

They were given a further £10,000 fine and warned as to their future conduct by an FA disciplinary commission after again being found guilty of failing to control their players during a 1-0 Premiership defeat at Fulham, a charge which the club had denied.

Last season Chelsea were handed a £100,000 fine and reprimanded for their part in a brawl with Arsenal players during the Carling Cup final.

The headbutt was defo the replay, in the drawn match Donal Murtagh was lording it in midfield unitl he got the injury that ended his career, it was then all ogs for the last 20 mins, the ref blew time on the button when there was at least 5 mins injury time

Why would he not be serious? we have had this debate about where the final should be held.  Bendover i like the way you are thinking pal about winding mc conville up about his gambling. But i would nearly say he would have a small wager on th ogs + 6 he wouldn't let this one get away 

Well the Ogs do have a few WUM's within the ranks who would love nothing more than to see McConville strike out and get the line. Lol if only i could get the Ogs +6, he'll be doing his best to make sure it stays close then 

Ben Even if he does strike out Gorman wont have the balls to put him to the line. I think he did the final in '95, I was only 13 but as far as I remember he made a total balls of it, some older Harps lads can clarify that. McConville headbutted Raffo a few years ago and Dessie Henderson Shit himself.
