Cluanin being Manorhamilton (or Glencar/Manor is it is in football). Gortletteragh and Ballinamore (Sean O'Heslin's in football) would be the other teams so presumably are the second semi final. SOH are in the intermediate football final on Sunday so it might be held back because of that.

Glen Rovers back in the Cork hurling final. Rockies and Barrs will have to buck up.

Would the winners be expected to do anything in Munster?

Cork clubs have been poor of late in Munster.

It seems Gortletteragh aren't hurling any more, which is news to me and a shame if so, so the setup then was that the loser of the Carrick-Manor tie played Ballinamore for the other final spot. The winners play Calry on the bank holiday Monday and the winners of that play the Galway junior champions in the Connacht final.

Connacht
Galway - Saint Thomas' are champions with a 1-11 to 0-10 win over Gort.
Mayo - Toureen versus Ballyhaunis.
Sligo - Calry/Saint Josephs beat Coolera/Strandhill in the Final.
Roscommon - County Final will need another day as Oran drew with Four Roads
Leitrim - Carrick Hurling Club are through to the final against Cluanin (possibly) I thought Cluanín were out, but they hammered Ballinamore yesterday. Very confusing.
*No Connacht Senior Hurling Championship*

I presume the senior winners in Roscommon, Mayo, etc, etc go into an Intermediate or junior championship in Connacht, no?

I thought the Ballyea and Clonlara game was slow enough going up until the Ballyea goal when it then kicked into life.

The hurling, balance and movement of Tony Kelly is something to behold, an absolute joy to watch.
Clonlara will need to get the better of the bigger Ballyea team especially the No10, Deasy who was catching good ball all day. The No 6 went onto him and that curtailed him slightly, but they never got Ballyea out of reach and when the goal went in Ballyea looked like stealing it.
Good to see Damien Power at the helm after Clonlara had outside managers for a few years now and have went with one of their own in charge, nice lad who was up at our place with their U14's a few year back.

The fact they had to push Padraic Maher (who most certainly doesn't lack guts) up the field late on told it's own tale
