Gallsman why ask peoples opinion on it then criticise. Get off the high horse pal.

Seamus, you are normally sensible but Gallsman is right.

Madrid's reaction has been unbelievably stupid in my view. They should allow a referendum with 2/3 majority required for independence. There wouldn't be a hope of that and issue could be put to bed. Unfortunately 50%+1 doesn't cut it.

While there has long been a longing among a fair part of the population for independence, Cataluña has never been independent. It's economic prosperity has also been built on the backbone of massive immigration from the rest of Spain, particularly from the 50s-70s.

Frankly I find it all very self interested and primarily based on financial interests i.e. They don't want to support those "lazy Andalusian" any more. Despite what I said above. It is no coincidence this has fired up not so long after La Crisis.

The leaders of the independence movement are a deceitful shower of c*nts, in the same way as the Brexit leadership. These guys have been lining their pockets for years in the same way politicians in the rest of the country have. Same lies about what a brave new economic world they will be in, yet Cataluña apparently exports more to Aragon than to whole of France.

And all this crap about remaining part of the EU. The EU has been very clear that they won't be. Probably a whole other debate about whether that is fair or not but the misinformation and spin is disheartening and dishonest.
Catholicism and Protestantism share many key beliefs. In fact there's a lot more in common between the two than divides them.

Can you believe it.You've planted a bomb, get out on bail because the cops haven't pieced it all together yet,and you return to the Station to fulfil your bail conditions? 😂😂😂😂.Straight out of Father Ted.

Seems like Charlie Redmond agrees with my suggestion.  The amount of off the ball stuff that went untected or at least unreported was ridiculous, I'm not saying it should all be penalized but 2 refs imo would curtail a lot of this stuff.

Note to gaa - players don't fear linsemen or umpires, so that's not the answer as most of them see no evil or hear no evil..

He retired because no one wants to watch him.
Fortunately that's how it works in prize fighting

Throwing the gps at direction of the ball/player has been blown all out out proportion in my view, an act of desperation that is the same as someone shouting at a player taking a free or goal keeper banging the cross bar or the player throwing his hurl at the ball to try and block it... it's the final moments of an All Ireland final!

Third defeat by a single  point ! Give the man a break ffs! The amount of off the ball crap that goes on in games and this incident gets the headlines!!

Lord save me, I have heard this pathetic refrain far too much over the last few days.
"Sure we'd all do it!"
Give me a break.
I played the game for 20 years and I never saw anything like this happening on the field.
It is 100% inexcusable.
If you have no problem with Keegan throwing the GPS monitor, then answer me this, what would have happened if Dean Rock missed?
What??  ;D ;D
You never played junior football in Meath then!
I’ve seen and was involved in far worse in matches between Robinstown and Dunderry and that was before the ref threw in the ball.
What would have happened if Keegan stood too close the the free taker or otherwise tried sledging or running across Rock’s line of vision as he went to kick the ball or anything else you can think of that could be termed obstruction?
Dublin Joe would order the free to be retaken, moved the ball forward and let Rock re-take the free.
That’s standard procedure and this instance should not be any different.
Love thy neighbor...Jesus loves us all (even Tyrone people)

Sure isn't God and his SoN Tyrone people ;)

Back to the floodlights, we could have taken them in Greencastle. Probably too windy for the Omagh townies though.
We'll see how you get on with the townies in windy killyclogher on Sunday

Political arrangements tend to break down when there is economic chaos . Belgium is shaky enough as well.
Spain is like a mini empire with lots of regional identities.  Franco must be very pissed off in hell this evening.

Andre Ward announces his retirement  :o

Sure he was no good according to some in here :o

Like Mayweather, his style was easy to appreciate academically but impossible to love. Unlike Mayweather he wasn't a total jackass out of the ring, though.
