A draw, Mayo's only score of the second half a goal from a penalty!

Evan Regan with 0-8 also made the goal missed another two. Had a point to prove today by the looks of it.

T'is Gas the way it is in the FBD that you get to be possibly happy about a player on the opposition side having a blinder?

Ah now, most of them only got back from Dubai on Wednesday and they haven't even been training collectively. Wouldn't pass any heed

I doubt they were having a siesta. ITS just are a very tidy side and are in the middle of the college season.

Proper order. Imagine dropping Regan last Summer when he was the form forward in the county. So much for needing forwards ;)

Rossfan

A nice  little winín for our bucks today.
Good effort and workrate but needless to say slackened off in the 2nd half with the game won at h/t.
Real test next week as the tanned men of Mwr will not be taking things easy against us.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

We really should have scored around 5-15 last Sunday, hard to take much of the game as NUIG were around the same level as GMIT were last year. I expect our neighbours to pick close to their NFL team on Sunday which should tell us where we are at.

David Keenan
Donie Smith
Enda Smith
Donie Shine
Ian Kilbride
David O'Gara
Colin Compton
Paddy Brogan
Michael Finneran

Is our lnjury list at the moment Sean McDermott,Donal Ward are carrying knocks, i wonder how many of these lads will be fit for the trip to larries land.

Not sure why the Rossies think we'll be going gung ho for this one?? Or are ye just getting the excuses in early lads??  ;)

Mayo always field their strongest FBD team in the Roscommon tie. It's usually both teams' last chance for a proper challenge before the league starts.

I don't expect you to go 'gung ho' in the middle of Jan on heavy Ballinlough pitch but going by your team selections you take this game a lot more serious than the other FBD games.
