Confidence helps with tiredness. They are playing on a crest at the minute which means that things happen easier. Also helped today by Bournemouth who were already on the beach and never tried a jot!  I'd like Nathan Ake though. He is a fine player.

The European Cup also isn't that hard to get into nowadays. I personally think your own league is now at least as important especially to someone like Liverpool.. Obvously City would probably think different. Real also think the same, going for their 7th European Cup in last 20 years during which they've only won 6 La Liga titles

Europe clearly matters more to Real, you only have to look at the hype that surrounded the lead up to their 10th title to see that. La Liga is a two horse race where Athletico crash the party once every five or six years.
