Philomena, the aul hussy.

Is she fond of the blanket on the ground
She sat on Turbridy's knee and then made reference (thrice) to him having "something in his pocket".

Meanwhile Norton had Benedict Cumberbatch, Matt LeBlanc, Mary Berry and Claudia Winkleman in one night. #justsayin

Send Philomena onto Norton, and she'll turn him.

At that time on a Friday night absolutely.

The Late Late however bad is still better than the celebrity promo tour that is UK and US talk shows. Leaning into cultural moments (Big Tom) and societal issues is what the Late Late has always done well.

You literally don't like anything that isn't the most Irish possible version of anything, though.

The Sunday World entertainment ads are a good guideline.I imagine the top people make a lot of money.

In fairness RTE were very late in recognising the sector with a LLS show benediction. Country was officially recognised the same year as gay marriage.
The itinerants won't get a LLS for another few decades
