I didn't know what FIGJAM was I had to google It. I've been an admirer of his for 20+ years (possibly cause he's a leftie like me) and I've never heard that nickname applied to him..

I thought it a poor thing for him to do, it he'd left it alone and said nothing it could have been put down to the course conditions wearing him down but he compounded it by saying he did it purposely knowing the penalty which was staggering.

A bit of grovelling and good PR needed...

By the way he's actually right handed  :o

jaysus mr2 that's a bit premature with over 60 games to go  ;D and the points for correct scores increases as tournament goes on.

Brazil and Germany didnít do many any favours today..
Nor did me forgetting to do predictions on 4 of the matches so far!

Go into settings u can make it email you if there's an upcoming match you've not predicted. Of course this only works if you have email notification on :D

I think if I was playing in the US Open I'd find it hard to resist the temptation to smack one of those loudmouth Yanks in the gallery

He could have been dq'ed alright and a different player might have been.

Zach Johnson just gave it both barrels about the course. The likes of Spieth and Rory who narrowly missed the cut will be even more vexed now. A couple of guys who were +7 had 66s this morning in the best of the conditions and will be bang in contention

What a crowd of try hard cnuts  ;D

Nobody's asking you to worship at the altar of Ronaldo just acknowledge that he played reasonably well last night.. in open play Isco, Silva were the best on the pitch but Ronaldo was easily Portugal's best player especially in the 1st half. Also Spain are a significantly better team than Portugal, who are below England in the betting ffs, so of course they were better.

Without having to think too hard did he not create the penalty, and did he not also, very unselfishly, hand a certain goal on a plate to a team mate, who missed it? I don't particularly like him, but to try and pick holes in his performance last night is pure nonsense in my opinion.

How is it nonsense? In the buildup to Spain's third, he was involved in giving the ball away and literally stopped playing because he was huffing even though three Spanish lads were passing it around him very closely.

He was absolutely Portugal's saviour but that doesn't mean everything he did on the pitch was perfect.

If he's arguing the point that Ronaldo was poor in open play it is nonsense cause he just wasn't..  :)

Spain looked like real live contenders in fairness, if they get rid of the dodge in goals obviously..

Good match enjoyed that just a pity Ger Canning is so awful on the mic.

Yes, soccer commentary is all about the silences. You don't have to ramble on and on.

Yis all know it's on other channels too??

Does Nani not make the Portugal squad these days he's gotta be a couple of years younger than Ronnie?
