Ballinakill 1.13 - 0.13 The Harps
Camross 0.16 - 0.15 Castletown
Clough/Ballacolla 2.17 - 0.19 Borris/Kilcotton
Rathdowney/Errill 2.29 - 0.10 Colt

Poor start to the year from The Harps with back to back losses against Portlaoise and Ballinakill.
It's hard to see anything but a very difficult Spring for Colt. R/E won this at their ease minus a host of probable first-team players.
Seems like good close games between CB and BK and Camross-Castletown.

Round 2 Fixtures:
12/04/2015
12:00   Castletown vs Rathdowney/Errill
12:00   Colt vs Ballinakill
15/04/2015
18:00   Borris in Ossory/Kilcotton vs Camross
18:00   The Harps vs Clough-Ballacolla

Not sure if county players are available.

It looks as though they'll be all tight games, with the exception of Colt, how did they get to division 1 at all? I guess it's the clubs with less county players that seem to do well in the leagues, then suffer against other clubs when county players are back. It'll always be tough when getting promoted anyway.

Slightly off-topic but probably preferable to starting a new topic;

Palmer Cup semi-finals:
Camross vs Clough/Ballacolla
Portlaoise vs Castletown

I understand the CB-Camross match is doubling up as their League match and will be played at the end of the month.

Still a round to go but everything looks done and dusted;

Clough/Ballacolla top the group and advance to the Final.
Camross will most-likely finish second ahead of Rathdowney/Errill with both already guaranteed a semi-final berth.

Colt have a couple of games left but look like they are going down.

Seems to have been a lot of close games; be interesting now to see which teams can integrate their county panellists back into the teams quickest...

Division 1 and 1A semi-finals are down for decision tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:30.

D1
Rathdowney/Errill vs Camross
Borris-in-Ossory GAA Grounds

D1A
Abbeyleix vs Ballyfin
Clough/Ballacolla GAA Grounds

It'll be interesting to see if Niall Holmes and/or Colin Delaney feature for Camross; both have successfully transferred back from Sydney.
