See Enda Muldoon and Honda are taking Banagher this year.
Michael O'Kane is taking Swatragh too having left Claudy.

Like Paddy Bradley last year, Enda is probably taking the club with the best chance of winning this coming year.

3-6 here too in the Montana, just not scoring enough. DeMarco Murray hasn't stayed healthy and Mike Evans just got himself suspended so not looking like i'll be shooting up the league soon either. I'd take a strong look at trade offers if there is a good RB involved.

See Paddy Campbell appointed as u-17 manager.
Hope he will not subject young players the puke football he has subjected the 3 club teams to managed.
F Muldoon and R Rocks were v good forwards, hopefully they will have a big say.
Obviously hope they do well but not a fan of the Paddy Campbell appointment and can't understand why he was appointed.

I don't get this 'hard draw' you have to beat what's in front of you to win, the plus side on a 'good' draw would be what? Not knowing how good you are when actually tested? Or the 'draw' being on top form and competitive throughout?

The extra game probably but a team playing hard games for me is better

Agreed, in a competition of only 3 or 4 games duration it makes no difference which side of the draw you are on if you are serious about winning.  At some stage you have to beat the best, as well to do it early as late.
I think what was meant by the post is that Slaughtneil would have to beat arguably the other top 3 teams in Ulster just to get to a final.

Fury says he weighs 25 stone at the minute . . . it's a long way back from that to being a Heavyweight champ especially against a young strong and fit Joshua. I just can't see it.

Will the young lad Dubois who dropped Joshua in sparring not be a shout over the next few years??
Dubois looks like a good prospect alright but is only 20 and you would imagine he'll have another 10 or so fights before going after any top heavyweight.

Why would the Dolphins trade him? There is another story behind this. A premium back for a 4th round pick........
Him and Gase have never got on. Gase left him behind in Miami for a game at the start of last season and publically called him out last week for not studying and missing blocks. He was also drafted with the knowledge his knees were an issue, bone on bone or something, so that may be a factor.

What's the point in having this vote next month then if countries are being told who to vote for? Sounds like South Africa had the biggest brown envelope to me.

Awful injury for Zach Miller. Had to have emergency surgery today in an attempt to save his leg from being amputated.

Joshua is pretty much unbeatable to be honest. Somebody might come along in a few years that changes that, but he will have it handy the next 3/4 years.
I would disagree. I think he's the best at the moment but not by a huge margin. I think he's better than Wilder but Wilder could KO him. Joshua was rocked by Dillian Whyte. Would be really interested to see him in with a fully fit and focused Tyson Fury too.

Would like to see Wilder v Whyte and Joshua v Parker next, then the winners meet and by that stage hopefully Fury is in decent shape and can get a tune up fight or two in too.

Refresh my memory here folks:

League promotion/relegation. Was it just 1up/1down this year or were there 2nd place/2nd bottom playoffs? If so, were those games played and who won?

Cian Hanley released by Brisbane.
Read earlier he is being released by Brisbane only to be signed for them again. Something to do with the rules on International rookies lasting 3 years.

Ulster Hurling and Camogie champions again. Would be some achievement if they could retain the football title too. I wouldn't bet against it though.

This run Slaughtneil are on really is incredible. They've been on the road now for a long time without much of a break, and a good few of them dual players to boot. Collectively they've some fire in the bellies.

Unless they're all IC players it's hard to make out they haven't had a break.

Why bother making a comment like that.  He was just pointing up that they are high achievers.  Derry clubs dont win hurling titles.  They did back to back and a big proportion of that team excel at football as well.

I have huge respect for what Slaughtneil have done. I don't know who wouldn't. But it's wrong to say they've had no break, realistically only McKaigue and the like have went without much of a break and even then Derry didn't exactly have that long of a summer. Their achievements stand high enough to be worthy of praise without adding unrealistic relish to it.
Have you realised you're wrong yet?
