Serious propaganda going on at the minute from No. 10 with the 'text' last night and the leak of the Merkel conversation this morning.

Did she actually say those things?? Major new outlets going with the story as if she did. UK would seem to have got the jump in on the blame game!

Sterling/Euro rate dropping heavy today as well.

Which news outlets though? Those sympathetic to Brexit/BJ? Being strongly refuted in Brussels circles as in 'not being Merkel's style'. I know which I would rather believe.
This may actually be one of the most heinous developments yet, if that's possible; basically, No. 10 (probably Cummings) attributing false statements to a foreign head of state, and one whom has always been a friend of the UK. Calling Merkel a liar in other words. Is there no low to which No. 10 will now stoop?

There is no low. None.

One of those two teams have no county players would be part of it...

That kind of area is loyalist paramilitary area. I'd doubt it would have been a good idea for them to stop it or there would have been trouble.

She exposed what she really thinks and now lots that didn't think she was doping(many did too) now think she was doping.

If you're going down the road of infusions, making up thyroid problems asthma etc etc then what is the point. I don't see it.

As far as English football goes I support Liverpool. That was never a penalty yesterday
Mane was fouled in the box, therefore it was a penalty.  I'm not sure how people are having such a hard time understanding this. The fact that Mane made a meal of going down doesn't take away from the fact he was fouled before hand.  You don't kick someone from behind in the box and not expect to give away a penalty.
There was a foul committed, so it was a penalty  it's really that simple.

Unfortunately I agree with you. Forwards go down for that kind of tackle and with the contact it just is a clear penalty. It just looked way worse than it could have for mane because he didn't go down until after the contact had happened. He needs to get more lessons from Mo ;D

If dibaba was running it could have been the battle of the juicers! (Allegedly).

Great run from Mageean again. Hopefully she will get a clear run of injuries for the olympics and get better again. Sub 4 hopefully coming. There wouldn't be too long a list of men in Ireland who can do that never mind women.

That there are people who still think Boris Johnson is a loveable rogue and not the dangerous narcissistic fool he is.

Surprise in intermediate with aldergrove winning. Fair play to them. I don't ever remember them winning anything at adult level.

Token female tv presenters on sports programmes. Started by the bbc with MOTD, followed by the rugby on rte and then seeping into gaa coverage of both hurling and football. Pc brigade gone mad to fill a quota.

Women rugby commentators! WTF you don't hear Matt Dawson talking or commentating on women's rugby or Shefflin talking on Camogie. It not even close to being PC, it's daft
::)
Your comments are exactly why this has to happen. I pity your wives/sisters/daughters if this is your attitude towards efforts to get women on an even keel. That you think women have nothing worthwhile to contribute to sports discussions is really sad. Does that translate into wanting to make the GAA Discussion Board all male too?

Some sweeping statement there and over the top PC shite, because someone thinks someone who played a sport, at the level and intensity of that being shown, is in a better and more qualified position to commentate on it or analyse it that someone who hasn't.

It doesn't necessarily put them in a better or more qualified position though. Not everyone who has played a game at the top has the intelligence to properly analyse a game and not everyone who played at the top level is articulate enough to convey an understanding of the game even if they do understand it.

Having to block the roads for contentious marches made psni more hated on loyalist side. That has actually helped.

Sports punditry needs more women in it. There are too many ex players and not all are particularly useful. Women have to work harder to get there and tend to know more. You get people like Robbie savage from the men's side who is useless. Michael Owen too. Bringing in more women hs at least saved us from more useless men like that.

Agreed the best should get the job but there's that many sports punditry any ex player could rock up and do it. Bringing women into it has really helped imo.

I didn't see it but heard a pb by 0.94 of a second?

Dina Asher-Smith won the 200 by over a third of a second which is unheard of though to be fair about 3 or 4 big players did seem to drop out.

Exactly.

Boris and his ilk are trying to shaft Ireland - all of it - with the assistance of the dup. It is high time to get that referendum going and get Britain out once and for all. We are second class citizens to them and will always be.
