What do we think?
It's probably a combination of the most cynical ones. ;)
Or maybe there is nothing cynical about it at all. Why does there always have to be a conspiracy?
Keane couldn't kick points like Colin Corkery.
Who wouldn't want to play Brasil if only to get a real Brasil shirt?
Or maybe there is nothing cynical about it at all. Why does there always have to be a conspiracy?

This is Ireland. It's what we do. We're cynical. We begrudge people. There always has to be a negative or selfish reason for everyone that does something positive.

I think it's more of an English thing, which is creeping into Irish life.

Yeah it is. Much more prevalent in the North too (in my opinion).

Neither I think. I don't bedgrudge him. The first option in the poll was the non-cynical option. I didn't raise him up either.

Tend to agree. As a player he is standout in the current crop and will finish as one of the Irish greats. That said the voters are leaning, ever so slightly, towards the more cynical view.

It's not an English thing at all imo but it is ingrained in Irish society (north and south).
Begrudge and sell hate, that's what the Irish do.
