The Friday evenings games seemed to work well especially during those long May/June evenings - It meant that players could enjoy their weekends with families & friends

Going by the county fixture calendar my guess is that its going to be either the beginning or mid May ACL start.  There are 7 teams in intermediate with Co representation (Aghayaran, Clogher, Edendork, Eglish, Galbally,Pomeroy, Owen Roes), then 12 Teams with Co representatives in Div 1 with Moy, Omagh & Loughmacrory, Killyclogher only having 1 each with Clonoe, Greencastle, Moortown having none. I wonder will the CCC go for a 6 starred game option this year or will it revert back to the 5? Will we see the reintroduction of pre-season competitions like the Jim Devlin/McGarrity cup? Will we know anything before the end of February?

Worked well for senior players not reserves. Reserve football was a shamble last year. Players trying to get out of work and to a certain location for 6.45, usually required to be there at 6 for w warm up. I know in my own club of few players that had to miss games due to work

I think its been talked to death already but a big improvement in Tyrone would be to play Reserves as stand alone fixture and give them their own route to promotion/relegation like they do in other counties.

Saturday Games at 1 and 3

8)
Could impact on the availability of referees given most youth games fixed for Saturdays

Any truth in Aghyaran making an appeal to county board over greencastle allegedly playing an under age player in a senior league game?
Not 100% sure on the rule for age going into a senior team. A player who is either still minor or not long out of it played part in the last league game vs Kildress from what I’ve heard. Be interesting to see how it fairs out if true but don’t think Greencastle would have played him if that was the case

Below from GAA Official Guide (Unless Tyrone have a separate By-Law which is unlikely).
"6.17 Age Grades

For breach in Minor or Under 21 Grades – 24 weeks

(iii) Person(s)-in-Charge of the Team in which the
breach is committed – 48 weeks Suspension.
(iv) Chairperson and Secretary of a Club:

For Breach of lower Age Limit:
(i)Team Penalty:

On an Inquiry by the Committee-in-Charge – Forfeiture of
Game without Award to the Opposing Team.
(ii) Player: For breach in any Grade – 2 weeks Suspension.
(iii) Person(s)-in-Charge of the Team in which the
breach is committed – 8 weeks Suspension. "

By my understanding, if the lad played minor football (u17) in 2021, then he is not eligible to play senior football in 2021.
County Board have a big decision to make here - Whatever their decision, it will surely set a precedent.
Didn't Errigal have a motion at the convention this year on age for senior club football this year-anyone know if this was passed or what the result of this was?

Aghyaran still need a point from their game at Killeeshil to win the league, provided Greencastle beat Kildress.
Who are also in desperate need of a point. Wonder what will happen...
Point most likely wont be enough for Killeshil, loss against Beragh likely to be their downfall, probably go down as 5th bottom
Presuming Tats beat Owen Roes away

How are Cookstown a junior team?  Did they not win the Intermediate All Ireland a few years ago?

Yeah 2013 all Ireland intermediate champions. Tyrone league and championship is linked, so if you are junior league then you play in the junior championship. Cookstown would be notorious in recent years for yoyoing up, but mainly down, the league divisions

Is Mulligan still playing?
No. He was last year

Morgan didn't play for Dungannon Swifts at the weekend, away on a stag do, could explain why Edendork didn't field

Few in work today-including one lad who had a brooch style one on that was the size of a tea saucer-thought it was only females who went for the brooch design

Kin was an awful show. Poorly acted (lots of overacting) and full of plot holes. Not a patch on Love/Hate.

The actor who played Kem was as bad as I have ever saw in a proper show/film.
Good god, I had thought his name was Ken the whole way through. Come to think about it, didn't really look like a Ken
