There's a girl in there who looks like "Downgirl"

Would it be cruel to ask who? :P

And is it the real pics or the drawings haha

Started Slimming World yesterday, doing it by myself as there are no classes nearby, my friend has done it and she lost like 4lbs the first week and 1-2lbs in subsequent weeks.  Also do step aerobics 2/3 times a week, found a nice wee set of free workouts online 2 for step and one is just a cardio one, worth checking out if you don't want to be heading to the gym www.jennyford.com

Lads I'm in Cork atm; is the main Newry - Armagh road closed, just heard from someone it is one way at the mo?? :-\  Coming from Ardglass would it be better to go via the motorway rather than trying to go the Newry route?  Thanks in advance!  :)

What an amazing night with exceptional talent on show, with all competitions very hard to predict a winner!!!

However, there were some very strange decisions made on the night!!!

Isn't that always the way with scór!!  Disappointed that Saul didn't get through in ballad group and recitation  :'(

Do Northeners actually get caught for not paying the toll? I mean do they actually manage to track people down?

Don't bother paying it, I'm up and down at least once a month and I haven't been billed yet.

Great to see the supporters down in their droves, all the Cork people I was talking to thought it was fantastic that there was that level of support.  The goals won it for Cork last night, the scoreline definitely does not reflect the match.  Would love to see Alder in the nets against Monaghan.

Couldn't make it up to Castlebar, would have loved to have gone, Saul ballad group were unbelievable and from what I have heard Sarah should have won in Solo Singing as well!!  Any videos from Instrumental?  My friend who was at it has videos of Saul ballad group and solo singing if anyone wants to take a look http://www.youtube.com/user/angiemcgreevy#p/a/u/1/_lVKR-bKPso

I also didn't make it to Castlebar but having heard Saul's solo singer at the Ulster final I also thought she stood a very good chance and the video of her at the final shows she was amazing!!

Saul Ballad Group win again Congrats!!!!    ;D :)

Here is a video of the All Ireland Instrumental champions Edendork at the Ulster Final!    :)

Thanks for the link, great to see that a group of 3 can win!!  I'd say the uilleann pipes sold it for them!!  Flute player is brilliant but what a piper for all the age of him!!  Excellent stuff, well deserved All Ireland title from the sounds of it!  ;D ;D

Well done to the local students who condemned the violence in London today. However, just one thing? Who the feck paid for ye to travel to London for the protest. I would be suprised to hear that you have worked many late nights in some local bar to subsidise your soiree (plane, accommodation, expenses etc). Methinks that Mummy and Daddy - or Heaven forbid the Students' Union - paid for your freebee. Bottom line is that the fees are going up and this annual protest (second Wednesday every November) was just another excuse to seem 'radical'. Same every year. Get a life or more pointedly GET A JOB!

I would imagine SU paid for the trip, I know for the protest in Dublin UCC SU paid for the buses to and from Dublin.  Absolute waste.  And I would imagine the students that went are wasters too that can afford to take a day off college.

Only a week ago I was wondering why the Ireland shinty/hurling panel had an Armagh man on it, ardmhachaabbu enlighted me on facebook saying that in fact he was a brilliant hurler and that Armagh are a good up and coming team.  An Armagh man through and through, like many others have said, every photo of him on facebook has he has his armagh jersey on.  Thoughts are with his wife, boys and his family.  RIP.

I know like I dropped my phone in a pint of beer a month ago, let it dry and it works perfectly so I was hoping another miracle would happen here...

So could I put it through my contents insurance and pretend it's mine? Would the premium go up I don't know how these things work?

September 16, 2010, 11:16:54 PM
Hey everyone could really use some help...spilt wine over my friend's mac last week, mopped it up and turned it upside down to get as much off as possible, was still working fine that night but the next morning it wasn't working at all (in hindsight probably should have turned it off to let it dry but you don't think of these things when you have been drinking), but later that day he tried it again and everything was fine except the keyboard wasn't working, all his documents etc were still there.

So he brought it to an Apple store and they said that the motherboard, keyboard and other parts are unfixable and it would cost more to replace them than it would to buy a new computer (£999).

Is it worth me asking him to try bringing it to a different shop to get them to fix it?  If all the docs etc are still there would it not just be something to do with the keyboard, like would it just need to be cleaned??

Any advice appreciated as I don't want to have to fork out that amount of cash!
