Many would consider this news worthy to people who consider the likes of X as nothing more than a cesspit and prefer to get their news from reputable sources. The BBC however don't think so. That should be a massive tell to anyone who hasn't realized already what this media organization is.

The BBC are in the business of confirming stuff before putting it on the air. You can't expect them to put everything spread on Twitter onto TV.
