Mckernan has been impressive but he is prone to the odd silly moment as well such as taking that shot on v donegal while in the corner.  Cut those out and we've a top class performer

Great to see an excellent match that doesn't involve any Premier league muck.  Would love to see the Italian league become the force it once was again

Definitely don't think Atalanta are here to make up the numbers.  Finished 5th in Serie A just a few points off 3rd.

At the same time Leverkeusen unbeaten all season in a league that contained 2 champions league semi finalists.

It's a brilliant final pairing

Little sympathy for Armagh for a number of reasons:-
(i) they've had the handiest draw in ulster for 2 years and still couldn't win it
(ii) they keep renewing geezers contract despite him NEVER getting over the line
(iii)  every one of those games that they lost on penalties should never have went to penalties in the first place as they should have won in normal/extra time

Quote from: gallsman on May 10, 2024, 02:56:15 PMWell it's the lodges/villas I meant. I wouldn't be one for the aul tent now. Fond of my air con and instant hot water. Iberian finals are in Salou next Saturday with a bank holiday on the Monday so we're going down and staying for a few days.

Sanguli is the best Eurocamp I've been to by a fair bit. Class spot!!

Heading to Cambrils this year and interested to see how it compares to Marina di Venezia.

They may hurry up and do it this year as the luck of the draw has favoured them massively the last two years

Great to see some new players in there for a change.  Delighted to see that hateful **** osullivan go out.
Looks like a Bingham v Wilson final now.  Bingham is a bit of a character too.  Jones plays a different game as well and his safety is excellent.
Refreshing to see these guys up there.  Fair play to them

Does anyone else feel the PL has petered out a bit before it's even over? Maybe it's just me and my view of modern football but it's dull

What did yous think of canavan on the Sunday Game last night.  Thought he was critical without being overly so.  Mentioned that Tyrone put no pressure on the new donegal keepers kick outs. He thought that Morgan could have come out a bit more just to pressurise him on the kick outs without going gong ho like derry.  At the same time he mentioned the lack of men to come off the bench.

3rd place wrecked us in the groups last year.  Westmeath followed by donegal so by the time we got to kerry on the third weekend we were knackered.  Hopefully there's better luck with the draws this year

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 28, 2024, 07:59:34 PMMorgan had caught that ball at the end over normal time, it was game over

Or even got a good fist to it which was risky in itself.  He's usually very secure with those balls and probably would have got a free out if he caught it.  He'll be disappointed he didn't catch ut

Well obviously Tyrone were number one as they won the All Ireland.  I'd have put Armagh at number 3 behind kerry  :)

Unfortunately I have zero confidence in our management team to get us over the line.  Hope I'm proved wrong but can't see it at all
