Sean Cavanagh Looking to get himself noticed again.
No one is saying that the likes of a streaming service is not a revenue builder, before streaming we still had reasons to generate money, but some matches like Saturday night with everything on the line for Cork at home against the reigning champions needs viewed free
Is Gaago owned by RTE or the GAA?
Quote from: SHEEDY on Today at 08:04:35 PMQuote from: Armagh18 on Today at 06:08:40 PMDo many counties have their own streaming service? I know Armagh tv do a good job with club games etc and Down and Tyrone have their own as well I think. Surely it'd be possible to let them show their own counties games if gaa go/rte don't have it.people want/expect to watch all the matches for free on TV, they don't want to pay for gaago, they'd crack up altogether if you add in another streaming service 🤔
Could rte not have some sort of red button service to even link these together?

Yeah but when you have rights etc involved then the games are scheduled way in advance. Did you know 2 months ago that this match was going to have riding on it what was riding on it?

One step removed from Neville's 'best in class' trope
So to address that they've acquired a 71yo billionaire minority shareholder supporter and Jason Wilcox
The football world is trembling at the prospect!
And if all else fails blame the Glazers, who to date have 5 PL titles and a European Cup under their tenure
I don't know any other industry where you would have people making decisions on acquisitions who aren't experts in that given field. So sneer at the football people comment all you want, its a basic short hand for people making decisions about which they have experience and expertise in. But I'm guessing you know that already.
It isn't about one man either, it is about getting a structure in place that can make strategic footballing decisions that are not manager dependent, to prevent the club ending up in the position they currently are with a mish mash of players from 5 different managers.
In a proper structure which INEOS are attempting to put in place, this wouldn't be allowed to happen.
You should of applied for the job by the sounds of it, they've just appointed a 71yo supporter after all, or would you be the technical expert, been tough up against Wilcox, apparently a dressing room jester in his time with not an ounce of sense, hope the due diligence is done on the latest raft of bluffers let through the door
Look on the bright side, a year or 2 at Wembley while the stadium is being redeveloped will make it easier for supporters to get to games
Quote from: JonnyD_ on Today at 10:57:24 AMi keep coming back to the players - the current crop! we definitely have something with the players. getting them all out with a full pre-season behind them and injury free and can beat the best.
Quote from: clonian on Today at 09:36:39 AMI need to hire a car in Malaga in July. Been looking at a few options and got some recommendations for the companies to use but I was wondering are you better taking the higher cost options to cover for the issues with scratches etc. I have heard of some nightmares on returning the car.
It works our €268 without the extra cover and €1200 on your card or €412 with the higher cover level.
Quote from: gallsman on Today at 09:07:09 AMEvery now and again ITV puts out a really, really good show. They make them so hard to watch though with the quality and ads on ITVX.

Hard to see where to go from here.
I wonder what will come out of the strategic review
That's the thing about strategic reviews, they are dependent on who is writing them and who is reading them. Here's my strategic review, we still haven't upped our game at inter county under age level.
