He said he could not take Ballyroan job due to work commitments that had recently cropped up.

Would be disappointed if he was taking another club as he indicated he was not.

Ballyfin still without a manager from what I'm hearing, don't want anyone internally, and are having a large list of people turn them down. Ballyfin could be in serious trouble this year, with James Finn away too

You would presume most clubs have appointed now.

You are clearly from Ballyfin, you must have some agenda posting that!

No agenda, was not meant to be picked up that way. Felt it was interesting and applicable to this thread.

I think "serious trouble " is somewhat of an exaggeration don't you think ?!

Interesting appointment, very expensive one would imagine.  How a small club can afford these guys is beyond me.

I really don't see the point. Killeen are not good enough to win a championship, they don't have enough quality players and Dermot o
r whoever could come in there but they can't work miracles!

Dermot Early will be on some dollars ...I'd expect its being funded by some Kileen business guy!

A couple of their players have close connections with Earley in the Army so would imagine that was a big factor. Wouldn't imagine he would be on huge dollars though as does he have any managerial experience?

100% agreed. Missing two senior county players (both names escape me at the moment), one through cruciate injury, the other travelling for the year.

Niall Smith, our (OY) best player two years ago, and Ruairí Allen, an unbelievable footballer, who nearly single handedly got them to a county semi final last year. Ruairí Allen was by far our best footballer last year.
Smith- ACL
Allen- Down under for 2 years. I think he had his license taken away.

I didn't know that. Still not a great result. Clara won't be at the business end of things I'd imagine.

Clara are so unpredictable it's not right. They'll never be relegated, probably at least a quarter final, perhaps a semi final. Some of their team are getting on a bit.
1. Rhode
2. Edenderry
3. Tullamore
4. Clara
5. Ferbane
6. Cappincur

I reckon that'll be a relegation battle between Durrow and Gracefield. Edenderry and Tullamore would appear to be on upward curves. Ferbane and Clara will be hard to separate. The championship setup here is a load of bollix to be honest.
Rhode easy winners.

I reckon that it'll be another year by the time that they really challenge Rhode. Perhaps, but I think not this year.
