Catch the high ball

From what I am hearing Trotting Weasel will take all the beating in the 7.00 at Naas tonight. Currently 6/1 with Paddy Power.

Cheltenham Gold Cup trophy stolen

The horseracing trophy the Cheltenham Gold Cup has been stolen from an address in Wormington, Gloucestershire Police said today.

This year's Gold Cup was won by Irish horse Imperial Commander.

The horse, which is trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and ridden by Irish jockey Paddy Brennan, finished ahead of favourites Kauto Star and Denman.

Mr Twiston-Davies, who specialises in National Hunt racing, is based at a stables at Naunton, Gloucestershire.

After Dawn Run had won the gold cup alarm was spread when the cup went missing only to turn up a day or so later stashed away in a cupboard-think the owner or staff might have been at the sherry!!
