Catch the high ball

Just looking through yesterdays results and I seen Barney Curleys horse Agapanthus won at Sandown 8.55 at 6/1, wouldn't be surprised if that was supposed to be the last leg of the O' Hare gamble, as the 2 Barney's are mates. 6/1 and a 9/2 (but they probably got bigger in the morning), not a bad days work.

"We had €1 each-way Lucky 15, quite a few of them, with some of the big firms, and the prices just collapsed. We've planned it for months, and admittedly some of the horses have been a bit disappointing.

:D

€1 e/w lucy 15............ Yeah right!!  :D

All over Fame And Glory later today. Can't see him beaten in the Coronation Cup. Sariska is a very useful mare but I doubt she'd have got within an asses roar of Sea The Stars last year like F&G did.

The Oaks looks a bit of a minefield. I was impressed with Bolger's filly at Naas though. A lot of people will be put off by the blinds and her running style. If she's in front rounding Tattenham corner she'll take some passing up that straight. She's by Hernando out of a Darshaan mare so 12F should be right up her street - good e/w value.

Just backed it earlier and came on to check the Pro's view. I'm happy enough now.If its good enough for Donnelly, its good enough for me.
Like Bolgers horse in the Oaks too, and might take a look at one he has running in the last at the Curragh.

He did it nicely Booj. Bolger's filly a bit disappointing though. Never looked as to be enjoying as much as she did at Naas.

Hard to look past Ballydoyle again in the big one tomorrow. St Nicholas Abbey and Cape Blanco were the two I'd picked out back in the Spring so the race has been costly enough for me. I'll probably end up backing both Midas Touch (e/w) and Jan Vermeer. It looks a very disappointing renewal with only one Group 1 winner in it and the champion 2yo missing as well. The fact that the second fav has only won a Goodwood maiden says it all.

I'd be sweet enough on Cape Blanco at Chantilly as well. Could be a big weekend for the Coolmore mafia.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Donnellys Hollow

If I'm backing Midas Touch tomoorw I might as well have a few bob on Address Unknown in the 7.00 at HQ tonight. Only noticed just there that he's running.

Already a member. Went to a couple of meetings with it. When I went to Leopardstown I got into the premiun seating with it. There was a trip to Michael Halford's yard yesterday which would have been good craic. It is all for free which I really can't believe.

Same here, they have a great novelty factor to them. I might get the whole family to sign up to Paddy Power so I can get a pair for every day of the week. I need all the luck I can get.  ;D

Nice spot lads. Have them ordered. Might wear them outside my trousers at Cheltenham next year!
